since i rambled on irc about the content while i was reading this i dont have a lot to add there but

Rather than post some pc++ bs, I think it's usually good in these milestone threads where there's basically nothing you can add contentwise to the OP with a reply to talk about the topic creator a bit, rather than just the OP talking about everyone else, so HERE'S WHATS UP.

I appreciate you, Huy. I would wager we've known each other for what, a little over eight years now? We didn't really talk that much until a couple years ago, but while you sometimes please me with an edginess you hide pretty well I've found really over that entire period that you're one of the few really genuine nice guys who've had a long-term impact on internet Pokemons and god knows we could use more of that. I think that as a mostly singles community often Smogon doesn't appreciate just how good you are at your own metagame, which is something I've been impressed by as I've gotten more into it myself and looked back on past events some -- there's an element of creativity and instinct doubles kind of requires that isn't as important in singles, where you can rely more on team creation and making the highest % move on most turns, that doesn't really carry people as far in doubles, that you are excellent at. JAA will probably never totally leave my memories, both as a time when Smogon(and the greater internet mons community it represents) embarrassed itself and probably when we found out, whether or not we accepted it at the time, that if any of us were going to be as good at doubles as we were at singles we'd have to take it a lot more seriously. I'm really glad we internet pokemoners ended up having people like you and your brother and Donut and Alaka as the ones answering that challenge. I can only imagine what things would be like now if we didn't.

Thanks for being you, I guess.
