The Console application is not the Terminal; I'm not sure what the German name is (Konsol?). The icon is shown on
this page. If there is a log line in there, that will be the most helpful thing.
Your keyboard mapping is German, I'm going to assume (it's under Input Sources in the Language & Text section of the System Preferences). I doubt this is an issue.
What is your exact short date format? DD/MM/YYYY?
