yeah BW LC mienfoo is more similar to DPP scizor (at least imo); it's not broken, but it is powerful, counters a lot of threats, and is seen everywhere...
btw, larvesta is a shitty mienfoo counter, i've seen a lot of them using stone edge; the best mienfoo counter nowadays is probably croagunk
