There is no direct proof of any higher being, and religion is infamous for slowing down facts as it is a belief not likely to change, even when circumstances do. Evolution is a very logical process, it makes sense that creatures adapt to survival will continue to survive and reproduce. The evidence on the effect of CO2 as a known insulator is really all I need, knowing global trends that state we should be getting colder, while the overall trend of the world is warmer just cements it.
