Dialga @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / some speed / rest in SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Protect
- Bulk Up
- Dragon Tail
Ok so this should be like Kyurem v2000. Insane typing lets Dialga wall like half of a team consistently (not to mention SR resist and TS immunity), allowing it to phaze its counters and get a good matchup after. Can easily set up on Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Chansey, and Whirlwind-less Lugia. Pressure abuse is also great due to the amount of low PP moves in the metagame. Bulk Up > Hone Claws unless accuracy is an issue. Also consider using this with Wish support.
Beware of Whirlwind Lugia and Excadrill. The former will automatically make you useless and the latter can Rapid Spin important entry hazards away while dealing major damage with STAB Earthquake.
Of course, this is all theoretical but...wonder if something like this works. Substitute stalling Pokemon have generally proven themselves to be a big headache to fight (Shaymin-S, Lugia, Gliscor). Dialga's recovery isn't as reliable but he does pack more punch and has easier set up than all of them.

I've actually tested Kyurem himself using that exact same set he did in UU, and personally I don't think it's half bad. The real catch is Kyurem's access to Ice Beam, which decimates most of the walls (like Groudon, Lugia, Giratina), and stuff you can't hurt with Ice Beam you can always just Dragon Tail them away. I'm running Ice Beam over Hone Claws, so yeah.
