I also remember playing my cousin in a Singles OU style match where I forfeit due to taking the risk of a Sleep Clause or something meaning they didn't include simple options that were there in the decade old Pokemon Stadium.

Only good thing it was for was practicing doubles matches against random opponents which you can do on the DS now. I'd appreciate a version for BW2 or the next generation on the Wii U, but it'll have to be a lot better made than this one for me to justify even paying half the price of a retail title for it.
To add to this, the game moved at a terribly slow pace. I know they tried to do better animations, but it only made the battles take longer than they should.
As for the graphics, they were good, but still unpolished. Some of the models looked like they were ripped straight from Pokemon Stadium with a slight touchup (see Slowbro's model). Also, the backgrounds for the stadiums are fake. If you look closely, some of the imagery gets blurry/muddy (to varying degrees) when a pokemon undergoes an attack animation, and sometimes its pretty bad. That's just unproffesional.
So many things about this game that were half-assed, the only good thing about it was the auto-leveling in the DS and WiFi battles.
