In all honesty, if you want Lapras to stick around for as long as possible, your best bet is RestTalk with Leftovers, not the gimmicky one-time RestoChesto "strategy". In most longer games - the sort of games you say you play most often -, Leftovers will do you a lot better. Also, what's your EV spread for the set?
