Going through the pathway, you wonder how long it will take before you see the Legendary Pokemon you were looking for. Eventually, though, you reach an outdoor area, though its shelved underneath the rocks and essentially inaccessible to the outside world. In any case, you know your trials are not over, as a Staravia & an Electrike face you, each guarding a path around a lake inset in the ground. You won't be able to cross without facing one or the other, and both of them glare at you, a trespasser in their territory.
"Ahhh, another test..." The voice says in your head. "Looks like you have to face one or the other. Hope you are ready..."
