My favorite Pokemon memory is also one of my earliest, I was four years old and just gotten red version. I was constantly asking my mom to read to me what the trainers were saying, but eventually she told me that I had to figure out what they were saying on my own because she didn't have the time to be my poke-translator. Thus, I taught myself how to read, beat the game with a level 100 charizard, and have been playing Pokemon ever since.
