Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

- Lava Plume

TormenTran is an extremely obnoxious Pokemon to go up against, especially in the fast-paced offensive metagame that is BW2 OU. Since most Pokemon only have one method of hitting Heatran for any reasonable damage, Substitute + Torment + Protect makes for an evil combination, essentially ensuring multiple free substitutes and ridiculously easy recovery as soon as the opponent is subjected to Torment. Lava Plume makes for an excellent sole STAB attack, with a reasonable base power of 80 as well as an exceptionally trollish 30% chance of burn (think Scald, people). When all is said and done, TormenTran is the single most annoying threat for offensive teams to face, and I believe it's an excellent Pokemon to base a CCAT around.
