My best pokemon experience was during my first couple play-throughs of pokemon yellow. I was only five at the time, so whenever I played I pretended to be ash from the anime. Questing for all of the starter pokemon and cheering them on in battle was the most fun I ever had in pokemon. My team always had charizard, venasaur, blastoise, and pikachu in it; they were my dream team. I remember constantly switching pokemon to experience just how badass all of my pokemon were, always having pikachu deal the final blow. It's unfortunate I didn't know what "release" meant.
