Darkrai with ease, or lead against it Turn 1 and tank the Spore
Should be tank the Dark Void.

Tyranitar can check Reshiram but Focus Blast will OHKO poor Tyranitar. Specs Draco Meteor deals huge damage, a potential 2HKO with SR up. All other Reshiram sets are walled however.

Skarmory works well in sand too, because it helps check opposing Excadrill and Spikes + sand to wear down foes. Tyranitar resists Fire while Skarmory walls Groudon and Extremekiller Arceus.

Giratina can do well in the sand, because it shares good synergy with Tyranitar or Hippowdon. Hippowdon beats some Zekrom while Giratina checks Kyogre, Grass Arceus and friends.

A good thing to keep in mind is sand teams tend to be very weak to Fighting Arceus, opposing Excadrill and Kyogre. Calm Mind Latias is a good counter. CM Ghost Arceus can be a huge annoyance as well because boosted Focus Blast rips through Tyranitar while Hippowdon is flattened by Judgment.

Garchomp is good and Terrakion is too.

Both Groudon and Kyogre scares off Tyranitar so the weather is hard to keep. Hippowdon fears Kyogre even more but safely walls most Groudon bar those rare SD LO versions.

Forretress is ok in the sand, it helps wear down Giratina-O faster too. Rayquaza is a good addition for more offensive sand teams to deal with defensive Kyogre and enemy Excadrill.
