I agree with you dragonuser. I've found quite good success with RP Genesect. Giga drain is a staple for me nowadays to stomp over the checks for Gene such as Rotom-W and Terrakion, and to offset the LO recoil. Scarf genesect for me is quite good, but the let down is its base 99 speed which can be out sped easily. I prefer scarfers such as Keldeo, Terrakion or Mence. The fact that Genesect cannot outspeed +1 base 100s, or even at least tie with them hinders its use as a scarfer. I think people claiming it being the best scarfer in the metagame is a bit of an overstatement. The ebelt set is quite good as well for bluffing choice and getting surprise kills. I always tend to net 2 KOs with ebelt gene. I would say my favourite set has to be Rock Polish, followed by ebelt then scarf.
