This thing is good. Even more-so that something so high in usage % that threatens it out AND gets switch momentum at the same time is gone (hi Genesect). It has a pretty awesome niche in the OU metagame simply because rain is so prominent. Like his bro (hurr), he has awesome defensive typing along with similar stats (obviously, def and sdef are switched). But that's what makes it so good. Many moves in the metagame (well, in rain) are specially based, and having Regenerator + solid recovery + a good support movepool + offensive presence (perfect coverage in Ice Beam + Fire Blast + Dual STAB + Hidden Power) are key components to a good counter.

Specs Keldeo, although rare, is a massive threat able to either OHKO or 2HKO pretty much everything outside of bulky invested resists like Amoonguss.. and Slowking.

If you again opt for a specially defensive set, it can force out even Specs Tornadus-T:

The Trick Room set is also absurdly powerful in rain:

252 SpAtk Slowking (+SpAtk) Surf IN RAIN vs 0 HP/0 SpDef Tornadus-T: 77.59% - 91.64% (2 hits to KO)

That's a 100% OHKO after Stealth Rock. Tornadus-T isn't all that frail either (at least for an offensive mon).

I'd like to see a rise in this.

I'm sorry; what? I swear by it that I've seen more of these than stats say. Well, obviously not, but still. That's crazy. These guys are some of the biggest threats in the game but they're lower than VAPOREON. Now that I think about it, I rarely ever see Vaporeons but a ton of Keldeo/Landorus. Odd.
