Nowadays everyone expects Acrobatics Drifblim, which makes this set a great lure to the common Rock and Electric types that switch into it. Drifblim can easily come in on something such as Amoonguss or Sawk and set up. After a boost, not many Flying-type resisters can take a hit, with even Regirock taking over seventy percent damage. What's even better is that after Drifblim has used up its Ghost Gem, it can continue to plow through the opponent's team thanks to Unburden, which only leaves it vulnerable to priority.
Although this set is great against offensive teams due to its speed, it struggles against dedicated walls such as Regice. Garbodor is a great partner since it can provides Spikes and wear down the opponent's walls. It also lures in Earthquakes for Drifblim to switch into. Fighting-types such as Sawk or Gurdurr can break through the aforementioned walls and destroy Skuntank, which is extremely dangerous to this set since it takes pitiful damage from Hidden Power [Fighting].
