They used a couple models (Weezing and Charizard, iirc) from Stadium ONE, which is even more ridiculous.
That said, my game prediction is that it's going to be a sequel to RSE, belonging to Gen V (why the hell are you people saying it's for the 3DS, wtf), for the DS and with some ridiculous gimmick that will make people play it on the 3DS (Dream Radar, curse you and your Therians).

That's irrelevant, actually (see: Therians). Besides, iirc, every one-form pokémon had a form count of 1 in DPPt, EVEN Giratina, Rotom and Shaymin; they never really made a "fail-safe" or anything of the like.
