It lets you hit Tyranitar without Aura Sphere, meaning you can now use Fire Blast without worrying about Tyranitar walling you.

Ice Beam has the merit of hitting Dialga (in rain) and Giratina-O (and tina-a if not specially Defensive) harder, I just feel GK has enough merit to go into AC of bulky attacker.

Substitute also prevents Dragon Tail from phazing you out.
I hope I'm not the only one that thinks this but its extremely hard to switch Mewtwo in to things, in fact, when I use it only manages to successfully get in whenever something dies (I know its a little bulky but...). Dual Screens allow you to get a Calm Mind with a LOT more ease, also delays the when a Revenge Killer (unless Genesect) can come in to kill you, seeing as you live the hit and toss back a powerful +1 Psystrike back. A mention of these facts IMO ought to be in the analysis (especially for the bulky set, don't forget that set can actually just use Recover when Genesect U-turns out to act as if nothing threatening happened).
It doesn't need the screen support but it heavily appreciates it (like all CM Arceus). Wobbufett is kind of similar except it can try to kill revenge killers, but the fact you type-stack is kind of sad really. You can't lure in a Close Combat or something that Mewtwo can use to setup on :(.
