Euphemisms always sound silly to me. Sure, they may be uttered with the same intentions, but someone saying "motherfather" doesn't have the same impact as the real deal. It makes me think of a preschool teacher or some shit like that.
What I want to know is, how did curse words become "curse words", y'know? What gave them their negative connotation in the first place?
