2vs2 Tier List (as of december)
Normally I'd do something like this, but it appears MythTrainerInfinity of Serebii beat me to it.

Clefable should be bumped up one.
I really don't see why there are so many "UU" tiers. Basically, tiers should go something like: Ubers Staple Other mainstays Common Usable Crap Maybe insert one tier in between "usable" and "crap," but I've found that in double battles, the line between something like Sudowudo and Ditto or Unown is so thin that it's practically non-existant. I dunno, maybe an intermediate between Usable and Crap would be for stuff that has some obscure use, like Butterfree who can Skill Swap Compoundeyes and stuff like that. I think the line between "common" and "usable" needs to be drawn. I mean, I really don't feel that Jolteon should be in the same tier with Mantine, but then Mantine isn't really UU in any regard, I'm sure he'd be banned if a 2vs2 UU metagame were to develop. Looking at it, there seems to be a lot wrong with the "common" tier. This is a single tier that contains Jirachi and Suicune, and Misdreavus and Miltank. I mean, you've got Gorebyss in the same tier with Alakazam, what's up with that? |

gorebyss is a swift swimmer with 114 sp atk and 105 def. i think that warrants it to be in the same tier

Looking at Victreebel, I'd say it warrants some use. Chlorophyll is a godsend in 2vs2, and just for that I'm willing to give the bel a spin.

How about just Uber, Standard, BL, UU? Or maybe one or two more tiers, but honestly 23902690 tiers is just asking for people to get nitpicky.

I think that 'Staple' gives people more insight in what they need to counter. I would be okay with just four tiers though.

Uber, OU, BL, UU, NU should be it. Maybe two tiers for OU if you really want to separate the lesser used OUs from the ones that are always used.

Since there is no such thing as playing 2v2 UU, or because it is so undevelopped, I don't think you need to distinct UU and NU. Uber, BL, Standard, UU is all you need, MAYBE with another standard tier (though I wouldn't call them OU and standard, that's confusing since it's practically the same).
