I went to the Sabres game last night. Got to see an awesome goaltender duel, we outshot the Flames 18-5 in the 1st and Kiipper kept it from getting out of hand, and then Miller came up huge in the 2nd and 3rd. I hate shootouts, but that one was pretty exciting. Really got my money's worth (ticket was free, HOLLER).

My team has picked up the slack thank goodness. Price has been stellar for the past 2 games, Hiller has picked up that slack off Giguere who tanked last game, and Nittymakki, I'm hoping will continue his good play. Iginla is off his slump, and D Sedin will be back soon.
Guess who's back? Back again?

I haven't followed Ice Hockey since the first 6 or so games of the season (I'm a San Jose fan, albeit only an average one - not a diehard or anything) and came back to see that we are in position for the Presidents Trophy as of this moment, sweet maybe I should start paying more attention again :)
