Ok, everyone has voted. Here are the results:

Latias: 60.6% Uber (13 OU, 20 Uber, 1 Abstain)
Manaphy: 78.1% Uber (7 OU, 25 Uber, 2 Abstain)

No matter what, Manaphy is uber. But regarding Latias, now we have the interesting dilemma of whether we should actually hold a Stage 3-5 on the Suspect Ladder with just her, even though this is identical to the way Standard has been recognized for a year now. We probably should, even though nobody probably wants to, because it's quite the headscratcher that Latias can be so much more uber with another pokemon than by herself, given that Latias was seen to meet the Support Characteristic, but oh well. We'll decide something shortly.

So that is what we're going to do. Since Standard is exactly what a Stage 3-5 environment would look like, we are going to look at the SEXP numbers of the people who have been playing Standard for the last two or so months, and canvass their opinion on how Latias meets any of the Characteristics of Uber.

No one-month delay of other crucial Suspect tests spent testing just one Suspect. No Suspect Ladder. No ignoring the elephant in the room who keeps whispering "but Latias has been in OU for over a year without being considered widely uber for at least much of that time, right?" And no "confusion" over a pokemon that just three substages ago was voted less than 20% uber.

We will soon reach out to Doug to get the pertinent stats and then compile the proper pool of potential voters. Thanks for your patience.
