If a list could be compiled of DPP event moves and added here that would be great. Also, any comments, questions concerns about the lists already posted.

Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
It occurred to me that a lot of the Pokémon caught in XD gain not only an exclusive move upon purification, but also come with an egg move or two as well. This is probably important to note, as otherwise egg moves would be assumed to be incompatible with XD moves, which is not always the case. Some of these Pokémon have ability restrictions as well, whether in Generation IV Little Cup, or normal play if the Pokémon is caught at its highest evolved form. These restrictions and moves are noted below: All XD Moves and Egg Moves: Code:
Altaria: Heal Bell Arbok: Refresh Articuno: Heal Bell/Extrasensory/Haze Baltoy: Refresh [Insomnia] Banette: Helping Hand Beedrill: Baton Pass Butterfree: Morning Sun Carvanha: Refresh Chansey: Sweet Kiss [Cute Charm] Delcatty: Sweet Kiss Dodrio: Baton Pass Dragonite: Heal Bell Dugtrio: Charm Duskull: Helping Hand Electabuzz: Follow Me/Cross Chop Exeggutor: Refresh/AncientPower Farfetch'd: Baton Pass Golduck: Charm Grimer: Helping Hand/Shadow Punch Growlithe: Charm Gulpin: Sing [Keen Eye] Hitmonchan: Helping Hand/Mind Reader [Limber] Hitmonlee: Refresh Houndour: Charm [Insomnia] Hypno: Baton Pass [Early Bird] Kangaskhan: Sing Lapras: Heal Bell Ledyba: Refresh/Psybeam Lugia: Psycho Boost/FeatherDance Lunatone: Baton Pass Magcargo: Refresh/Heat Wave Magmar: Follow Me/Cross Chop Magneton: Refresh Makuhita: Refresh Manectric: Refresh Mareep: Heal Bell Marowak: Sing Mawile: Sing/False Swipe Meowth: Sing Moltres: Extrasensory/Morning Sun/Will-O-Wisp [Soundproof] Mr. Mime: Follow Me Natu: Baton Pass Nosepass: Helping Hand Numel: Charm Paras: Refresh/False Swipe Pidgeotto: Refresh Pineco: Refresh/Pin Missile Pinsir: Helping Hand/False Swipe Poliwrath: Helping Hand Poochyena: Heal Bell/Poison Fang [Vital Spirit] Primeape: Helping Hand/Reversal Ralts: Sing Rapidash: Baton Pass Raticate: Refresh Rhydon: Helping Hand Roselia: Sweet Kiss [Keen Eye] Sableye: Helping Hand/Recover Salamence: Refresh/Dragon Dance Scyther: Morning Sun/Razor Wind/Silver Wind Seedot: Refresh Seel: Helping Hand Shellder: Refresh/Take Down Shroomish: Refresh/False Swipe Snorlax: Refresh/Fissure/Curse Snorunt: Sing Solrock: Baton Pass Spearow: Baton Pass/False Swipe Spheal: Charm Spinarak: Refresh/Signal Beam Starmie: Refresh Swellow: Baton Pass/Sky Attack Swinub: Charm/AncientPower/Mud Shot Tangela: Morning Sun [Intimidate] Tauros: Refresh Teddiursa: Refresh/Metal Claw Togepi: Tri Attack/Helping Hand [Shield Dust] Venomoth: Refresh Voltorb: Refresh Vulpix: Charm/Heat Wave Weepinbell: Morning Sun/Magical Leaf Zangoose: Refresh Zapdos: Extrasensory/Metal Sound/Baton Pass Code:

I don't know if I caught everything, so if other users could look it over, that would be excellent. Where applicable, I have noted level/nature restrictions. Gen IV Event Moves: Code:

Yes, I just remembered the Hitmon- family was male only, so that would indeed be the first place it gained access to Helping Hand. Forgive my lapse in judgement.
EDIT: Speaking of gender, I added the genders of a few Pokémon in my post now as well. |

Just off the Top of My head Nasty Plot Celebi is missing from said list.
Edit: Or we could use it/Shiny Dogs as an example of how this forum is supposed to work.. Last edited by RBG; Aug 10th, 2010 at 8:10:36 PM. |

Added Nasty Plot Celebi. Also, noted that Pokéwalker Pokémon cannot have a Quirky nature.

More genders!
As far as the special Pokewalker Pokemon go, the Fly Pikachu and the Selfdestruct Munchlax are always male, and the Surf Pikachu is always female. Also, the Ranger 3 Heatran is always of the male gender as part of it having a fixed PID. The Aura Sphere Riolu is also always male.

Thank you for the genders, Wild Eep; I added them to my post. On the subject of verification, Bulbapedia lists Birthday Charmander being given out again, this time with a Hardy Nature. However, this is the only place where I have seen this Pokémon listed. Maybe we could have our users verify this Pokémon as well?
EDIT: I just remembered that many of the XD Pokémon come with egg moves, and as such, I have updated my post with this information as well. Last edited by Arseus; Aug 24th, 2010 at 10:49:58 PM. |
