The odds of Protect working 4 times in a row is around 1.6%, it's small, but not impossible. It doesn't really qualify as a glitch, your opponent was just a fool who liked to spam Protect, and somehow got a truckload of dumb luck.

The odds of Protect working four times in a row is actually 12.5%, which is twice as likely as any attack being a critical hit. Please do not post two threads for every critical hit you see.
