HotDave, I'm giving you a bad ass, and useful, HM slave. It is the most bad ass of all HM slaves you will ever encounter!



It must learn only HM moves when it's possible to teach it HMs (pre-evolved it can learn Surf, Strength, Rock Smash, and Waterfall. After evolution it can learn Rock Climb). It must also be the highest level Pokemon in your party at all times. (edited to be a bit more fair)

*edit* Saw you had a nickname requirement. Nickname it Aspirin, because it's going to need a lot of it.

If you're unsure where to catch them, the earliest location in Platinum is Oreburgh Gate.

HotDave, take a MALE Burmy, named LEAFEH. It must evolve to Mothim as soon as possible - any later than Gardenia, and you have to drop it, in favour of nothing. LEAFEH loves nature more than anything - the sounds of the bugs, and the rustle of the trees, and so, he must always have at least one Bug move, and one Grass move (not including a Hidden Power). KO at least three Galactic Admin Pokemon with it.

It's A Random, I am going to have to reject Shinx, but not for its evolution requirements, which are fine. The 4 Sinnoh Dex slots have been filled by Psyduck, Meditite, Burmy, and Duskull, but no one has given me my starter challenge or my post elite four not on Sinnoh Dex challenge. Remember, this challenge does go up against the boosted Elite Four after getting the National Dex. Your post had the last edited timestamp, so you're the odd one out.

Someone will give me a starter egg from another region. Upon defeating Roark (which will be done without my starter if possible) and obtaining my second pokemon, I will trade my Sinnoh starter for any of the following eggs:
Squirtle

The Sinnoh starter I choose will be the same type as the Starter in my challenge.

@HotDave: Take a Meditite named Broken. Your Meditite has mad skills when it comes to fighting, but it is mad that Medicham is NU. Your rival, named Eo, is one of the greatest OU battlers ever; for this, Broken hates him. Broken must KO three of his Pokemon every time you fight him after you get Broken (I don't know how many times this is). Broken must learn at least one HM move to show its superiority (it rocks with bad moves), and it must learn one STAB move of each type. It sympathizes with its NU brethren and may not even attack any Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in NU as of the most recent Gen IV tier list. However, it must KO every Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in the OU tier. It must also solo Cynthia's Garchomp.

And so we reach my 1K post. Shout-outs to all of you, you've been great. It's been a fun year. I look forward to keeping it going. But that's not the reason I'm posting (well it sort of is, but you know what I mean). Basically, I want Lolcat's Insane scramble. Remember that all-physical Abra which had to solo Sabrina to evolve? I'd take that. Remember the MEP which had to solo Volkner or someone? I'd take that. I want restrictions on Movesets, Evolution, and even on things outside of battles. My only resrictions are that challenges must be possible. A MEP will never solo a Ground-Type leader, even at level 100. It just won't happen. And my other restriction is that, for the sake of some nostalgia, I must have a Lapras again, which of course means that it will be Soul Silver, like my first Scramble.

EDIT: You get Commander the Lapras. This Lapras is an old salt who's been around the world as a Navy opperative. Like any Navy commander, he knows his cussing words, and therefore must know Curse, and use it at least 3 times every battle it takes place in(yes, this requires breeding). He is a specialist though, and uses only moves that will hit the target from far off. Being in the Navy has tought him that letting the opponent too close can cost him. He holds himself up to high standards, and therefore must solo 300 trained pokemon, and every Gym pokemon that a different challenge doesn't require. Being the commander, he must be the highest leveled pokemon at all times. Also, he has a grudge against Lt. Surge, so he must solo that whole gym. Remember that note about learning not to let the opponent get too close to him? That happened when he lost his eye and couldn't hit as accurately, but he also unlocked major strength at that time. Then at long last he is matched up against his arch-rival, Red's Lapras. He must solo Red's Lapras, and all remaining pokemon on Red's team.

RECAP:
-Lapras named Commander

@Atheno, congrats on 1K! I give you your Lapras named Crippled. All of its attacking moves must have a base power of 40 or less, and it must use the attacking move that does the least amount of damage to the opposing Pokemon in every battle. Solo 10 gym leader Pokemon and 5 E4/Champion Pokemon.

Flip a coin. Note whether it was Heads or Tails

Now, roll a 20 sided die twice. Note the numbers you rolled each time.

If you flipped Heads go A-Z, with a=1, b=2, c=3 etc. If you flipped tails, do Z-A, with z=1, y=2, x=3 etc. (Yes, I do realize this omits six letters with each roll)

These will be the first two letters of your new pokemon's original name! (For example, lets say I flipped Heads, and rolled 7 then 1. I would have GA)

Take the first pokemon with these two letters. If there is no pokemon with those two letters, reroll both dice. Find their BST, and check the restrictions below:

BST between 0 - 200: Must be second highest leveled party member, solo an entire gym that has a type advantage on it

BST between 201 - 300: No STAB, solo 10 pokemon with a type advantage outside of gyms, 5 of which must be trained

BST between 301 - 400 : Can not evolve until you have 10 badges, must hold an item that hinders it in some way. (I.e. Toxic Orb, Lagging Tail)

BST between 401 - 500: All moveslots must be HM's (if it can't learn 4, then it gives up the moveslots that cannot be filled)

BST between 501 - 600: Can not use moves in battle with a BP over 60

BST of 600+: Must solo an entire E4 Member, and lead against the Champion.

You must use the BST's before you. So if you roll something with 405, you get the challenges from 0-200 all the way too 401-500

Also, for every BST higher then 301, double the amount of pokemon you need too solo and the amount of trained pokemon you need too solo. (I.e, if you roll something with 501, it would be 10x2x2x2 = 80 pokemon with a type advantage, and 40 of which would have to be trained.)

It must follow you everywhere, and lead in every battle that doesn't conflict with another challenge. Also, just because I can, once it has it's full moveset (So in the event it gets all HM's) have it solo your rival, if this doesnt conflict with another challenge.

If it doesn't get the all HM challenge, it must know at least one egg move.

Use the pokemon's final form for the BST calculation, and you must catch it in it's lowest form :)

You get an all-special male Geodude, caught in Route 46 as soon as you get your first set of Poke Balls, before your battle with Falkner. It cannot use physical moves, in or out of combat, for any reason --- this includes HM moves! It cannot evolve to Graveler unless it can solo Whitney's Miltank and Morty's Gengar (no restrictions to evolve to Golem). You may not trade it to teach it moves on another game pack, or EV train it, until it evolves to Graveler or Golem. Most importantly, it must solo Red's Snorlax.

Athendoros, you get Derp the Chikorita. Derp is very derpy; thus it cannot ever use an attacking move after level 9, when it must learn Poisonpowder. Tackle and Razor Leaf must be replaced posthaste.

Any non-attacking moves are fine to use. The Chikorita may be transferred over with Leech Seed bred onto it (lvl 5) or the TM06 Toxic may be transferred over.

Can evolve whenever.

Anyways, I have decided not to do my queued Pearl Payback Scramble & replace it with something harder. A lot harder. To be precise, a Hard-Difficulty Pearl Solo Run.

• Solo Run.
• Only Pokemon found in Pearl pre-national dex are allowed.
• 5 People coming up with challenges, reduced to 1 using RNG.
• NO PIPLUP PLEASE!!!
• Reservations are banned.
• Don't drudge me.
• Hard difficulty.
• Creativity is recommended.
• I reserve the right to reject challenges.
• Nothing silly like MTP's, please, this is a solo run ffs.
• No Signature Challenges.
• No "No Good Moves" Challenges.
• There is a list of Pokemon you can choose from, do read it, as these are, imo, viable for a solo run.
• If ANYONE gives me a challenge that is possible in Platinum, but not in Pearl, NO CHALLENGE FOR YOU!!! EVERY TIME I ASK FOR A PEARL CHALLENGE THE IS ALWAYS SOMEBODY WHO DOES THIS!!!
• Make them fun.

I think I may just designate one move as unusable, and keep it for the whole game. I doubt it will be too helpful.

Oh my God. When I finally work out what is going on here, I'll decide how to proceed. We'll see.

A Geodude which can not use Physical moves, and is not even useful as an HM slave. Hmph. And interesting factoid for everyone: Geodude learns no special moves by level-up.

So that's all of them. You can still put in more restrictions if you want, to make them harder, because I am still looking for the hardest thing so far.

@Random.Take a Munchlax the first one you catch
Your Munchlax is always looking to improve its weaknesses. thus...
If it has a:
- Special Defense/ Defense nature it must learn both Defense Curl and Amnesia and to evolve to Snorlax it must defeat a gym leader after reaching +6 in both stats.
-Attack it must have all attacking moves of different types to evolve to snorlax.
-Special Attack must have the Bolt/Beam combo (Thunder/Blizzard for your convienience).
-Speed must have two moves that can paralyse at all times to make up for its lack luster speed to evolve it must succesfully defeat and gym leader with all of their pokemon being paralysed.
-Neutral as it appears to have no weaknesses your Munchlax is wary so he must always have Substitute and Odor Sleuth, and must defeat Fatina with the help of Odor Sleuth to evolve.

Other little things:

Roll a die. The number on the die corresponds to the amount of badges you have to have accquired for Munchlax to evolve. For example if you roll a 1 it can evolve any time after you get your first badge.

If it is Male it must have Swagger on its moveset(if this interfers with another challenge ignore this requirement.)

If your lucky enough to get a Female Munchlax it must always have Attract on its moveset. (if this interfers with another challenge ignore this requirement.)

If your Munchlax has Pickup it must ditch its lefovers straight away and can evolve after it has picked up 50 items(as well as fufilling the other requirements.)

If your Munchlax has Thick Fat you can only heal him with Berries Drinks and Food (not potions) Revives are fine.

If Male call him Bob
If Female call her Betty

Random, take a Machop. But that isn't the half of it. =]

Now, his parents were a little "zealous" with the Dynamic Punches, and left this little guy confused about who he is. As such, he thinks he is a Guts pokemon. As such, he must become Poisoned/Burned 5 times and solo whoever statused it to evolve. Now, here is where the magic happens, and you get a choice;

He finds that if he settles down and concentrates, he can fulfill his potential as a Machoke. If he just focuses on one move at a time, he fight! (He is Choice Locked)

~OR~

The evolution process made him even more confused about himself. He now thinks he's an Alakazam, and shouldn't have to touch his opponents to knock them out.


To recap;
- Take a No Guard Machop.
- To evolve, he must become Poisoned/Burned 5 times and win anyway.
- If he remains a Machoke, he is ChoiceLocked.
- If he becomes a Machamp, he is a Special Attacker, and must carry at least 2 Attacking moves.
- Name him Hercules.

Here's hoping I wasn't too late...
