So I am running an Anti-setup team, and one of my leads is going to be a Thundurus. Here's his setup.
• Thundurus @ Lum Berry • Prankster • Timid • 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power Ice - Thunder Wave - Taunt As of now, I have Thunderbolt. But I have been thinking about the use of extra power from Thunder, and I wonder if it is a better choice than Thunderbolt for this metagame? Last edited by HypermanEX; May 12th, 2011 at 3:01:49 PM. Reason: Jidden Power Ice? |

In the future, use the Simple Questions thread for things like this.
As a general rule, Thunderbolt is preferred over Thunder, since it's more accurate.

Discharge is generally preferred over both because it hits both opponents. However, it gets shut down by Wide Guard and is weaker.

Don't use low-accuracy moves if you can help it. It's single elimination, and the risk of getting screwed by hax is high enough already.

Why shoot blindly in every direction until you're lucky enough to hit the target when you can just take the time to aim properly and hit it with one shot? |
