Rules:
Pokemon: 2v2 Format: Singles DQ: 2 days Items: None Abilities: All Switch: KO 5 Chills / 2 Recovers Arena: ASB Tournament Arena Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle. Arena Effects:

go Pytho the Shelgon! Start with a Dragon Claw then use Dragon Dance and finish with another Dragon Claw.

Let's try this out
Start the round off by using Dragon Pulse to hit his weaker Special Defense. After that we can go ahead and use Thunder Wave as he Dragon Dances. We'll finish up with one more Dragon Pulse. I guess reflect would be a good idea, but meh ionno

Code:
Dragonite and Shelgon enter the field as the crowd roars in the background. Both trainers nod their heads toward each other, and then the battle begins. Dragonite leaps immediately into the air, and soars around the battlefield a bit before hovering in the air just out of Shelgon's grasp. Shelgon leaps directly at the floating beast, as Dragonite unleashes a potent shockwave of draconic energy right at him! The blast strikes, but Shelgon persists through it and cuts Dragonite with one of its dragon claws across the side! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! It's super effective! Shelgon takes 25 damage! Shelgon used Dragon Claw! It's super effective! Dragonite takes 8 damage!
Calculations
Action 2: As Shelgon lands from the attack, he begins charging and waving back and forth in place. The motion billows up several black and red, electrically-charged clouds, and Shelgon seems to be extremely pumped from the attack. Meanwhile, electric waves lash out from Dragonite's antennae, striking and debilitating Shelgon before it can complete its dangerous dance! Dragonite used Thunder Wave! Shelgon was paralyzed! Shelgon used Dragon Dance! Shelgon's Attack rose! Shelgon's Speed rose!
Calculations
Action 3: Shelgon, now slightly crippled by the paralysis, manages to muster up its wits for another pass. He spins on a paw and leaps once more right into Dragonite! Dragonite, seeing the same situation as before, lashes out with a potent wave of sonic energy at the inbound Shelgon to strike it first! The attack leaves Shelgon wincing, but Shelgon recovers long enough to cut the Dragonite once more with one of its claws! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! It's super effective! Shelgon takes 25 damage! Shelgon used Dragon Claw! It's super effective! Dragonite takes 9 damage!

hmm, let's try to not rack up too much damage now, but that might not be possible to avoid!
Let's use one more Dragon Pulse and follow that up with a Dragon Tail. If Pytho is still around, let's finish him off with a Dragon Pulse I don't want to use outrage because of embirch :(

Code:
Shelgon, sensing that he's taking far greater a beating than his opponent, goes for the gusto and tries to inflict as much damage as it possibly can before going down! He again attempts a leaping attack on the opposing Dragonite, and succeeds despite paralysis! He soars through the air from his jump, but once more does Dragonite unleash the waves of sound at him for more damage! The battle is heating up! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! It's super effective! Shelgon takes 25 damage! Shelgon used Dragon Claw! It's super effective! Dragonite takes 18 damage!
Calculations
Action 2: Shelgon stumbles as he lands from the attack he just suffered! One more hit like that and he's gone for good. He decides instead of attacking with his claws, he will this time head charge directly into the flying dragon for greater damage! Dragonite, sensing the shift in his opponent's plan, swoops in and brings his tail crashing down on Shelgon before he can even begin his attack! Dragonite used Dragon Tail! Shelgon's stat changes were reset! Shelgon takes 18 damage! Shelgon used Double-Edge! Dragonite takes 12 damage!
Calculations
Action 3: Shelgon, now weaker than ever, attempts to sweep at Dragonite with his claws one last time, but is cut short by the ever-present wake of shocking energy sent forth from Dragonite's maw.. The attack rips around Shelgon, sending it flying backwards, tumbling against the floor. The Pokemon doesn't stand back up. He has been knocked out! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! It's super effective! Shelgon takes 25 damage! Shelgon fainted!

Btw, this makes no difference, but you forgot about Shelgon's Rock Head ability.
Forest Fire, start with Leech Seed, then use Will-O-Wisp and with Fire Blast.

ok
Let's begin things by using Thunder Wave, this'll at least be a safe move. We can follow that up by hoping Hurricane hits on the will o wisp and finish up with a Dragon Pulse light screen should probably come up soon

Code:
With Shelgon down already, Embirch has a lot of ground to make up for his trainer. Can he pull through? I'm not sure if it's possible, but let's watch and find out! Dragonite leads this round by lashing out with a slight jolt of electricity. The attack rifles through Embirch's muscles, paralyzing it! Embirch overcomes the paralysis in order to use its own attack, though, and fires leeching seeds at its opponent to keep itself healthy and gradually wear Dragonite down! An excellent start to this match-up! Dragonite used Thunder Wave! Embirch was paralyzed! Embirch used Leech Seed! Dragonite was seeded!
Calculations
Action 2: Dragonite rears from the seeds, frustrated, and hovers back several yards to begin his next attack! Whirlwinds of air begin forming around his position and leaves kick up from all around. The intense attack is unleashed moments later and a fierce hurricane swoops throughout the area, and it just narrowly hits its mark and annihilates a segment of the area surrounding Embirch, severely damaging it! Embirch barely recovers and launches a bluish flame of debilitating fire at Dragonite, which strikes its mark accurately! Dragonite used Hurricane! It's super effective! Embirch takes 29 damage! Embirch used Will-O-Wisp! Dragonite was burned!
Calculations
Action 3: Dragonite continues the assault despite his condition and swoops just over Embirch from his prior position. As he makes his sweep, he unleashes the same waves of sound at Embirch as those that annihilated the earlier Shelgon. The waves ride along the ground tracing Dragonite's shadow until they coincide with Embirch's position, doing serious damage! This Dragonite is really ripping up the field today! Embirch, barely overcoming his paralysis, propels a potent blast of flames in Dragonite's direction, and sure enough he predicts appropriately and aims exactly where Dragonite moves to! The attack hits, though it barely seems to phase the beast at all.. Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! Embirch takes 17 damage! Embirch used Fire Blast! It's not very effective... Dragonite takes 9 damage!
Calculations

alright, time to chill out a bit
Start out by Roosting, this can give us like one more round maybe almost. We can follow this up with another Hurricane, 70% accuracy isn't that bad, but if Embirch uses Protect we can use Light Screen instead. If Hurricane hits, we can use Light Screen on the third action, but if it doesn't due to Protect we can use Hurricane then roost->hurricane->light screen switch hurricane and light screen if protect is used on the second action

Code:
Both Pokemon take a chance to brush off a bunch of damage and relax for the coming storm this action. Dragonite leads with a healing Roost, while Embirch responds by synthesizing with his environment to heal up! Unfortunately, Embirch cannot complete his action because he is fully paralyzed, and thus gets put seriously behind his opponent! Dragonite used Roost! Dragonite gains 20 HP! Embirch used Synthesis! Embirch was fully paralyzed!
Calculations
Action 2: Dragonite, now ready for the long haul, lashes out with a potent Hurricane to destroy his opponent once more! The powerful windstorm whirls up and engulfs the entire arena! He throws the storm in Embirch's direction, and like before, it completely mauls the poor Grass-type Pokemon! Even more so than usual, this one confused Embirch slightly! Embirch responds by trying to set up, as though that will help him in his fight! He succeeds through both paralysis and confusion miraculously! Maybe his trainer has a strategy for pulling this out! Dragonite used Hurricane! It's super effective! Embirch takes 29 damage! Embirch was confused! Embirch is confused! Embirch used Growth! Embirch's Attack rose! Embirch's Special Attack rose!
Calculations
Action 3: Dragonite makes an attempt to block further special damage from his opponent by setting up a Light Screen. This barrier succeeds and blocks special attacks from hurting nearly as much as they normally would! As if anticipating this, Embirch lashes out with a fiery wheel attack that unfortunately barely scratches the well-type-matched Dragonite! As if fated to fail, however, he strikes himself in confusion as he winds up the attack! Dragonite used Light Screen! A barrier was formed! Embirch is confused! Embirch hit itself in confusion! Embirch takes 4 damage!
Calculations

i guess we might as well try to end this
Start out with a Dragon Pulse and follow that up with a Hurricane. If everything hits we can finish things up with another Dragon Pulse a bit of hax in my favor last round :S

Code:
Dragonite goes in for the kill here, and lashes out with his famous sonic dragon shockwave attack! The move strikes true, maiming Embirch. Embirch follows through by healing off the damage of the hit at a severe cost to his exhaustion levels. He just can't keep that up all match! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! Embirch takes 17 damage! Embirch used Synthesis! Embirch gains 20 HP!
Calculations
Action 2: Dragonite prepares one more massive hurricane attack, clearly to put the final dampening on this little dinosaur Pokemon. The attack strikes true thanks to the evasion drop from a Speed-reducing nature on Embirch! Embirch responds by trying to muster up a flaming wheel attack, though given how ineffective it was last turn, perhaps his trainer has just given up instead. It's tough to tell in this gruesomely one-sided match. Dragonite used Hurricane! It's super effective! Embirch takes 29 damage! Embirch used Flame Wheel! It's not very effective... Dragonite takes 7 damage!
Calculations
Action 3: Dragonite, now nearly fully exhausted from the battle, lashes out with a final draconic pulse in order to slay his foe! The attack strikes true, and KOs the Embirch. Now too tired to continue, Dragonite also falls to the ground, KOed by exhaustion! What a finish to this match, a double KO! Dragonite used Dragon Pulse! Embirch takes 17 damage! Embirch fainted! Dragonite fainted! PKMN Trainer Fire Blast has no more usable Pokemon! PKMN Trainer GoldenKnight wins the battle!
Calculations
