Moveset Analysis: Standard Ubers: A-P Standard Ubers: R-Z December 2011 statistics. Happy discussing! Oh man, what statistics we got ourselves here. Kyogre has gotten its throne back from Dialga, who was the king of our 1337 stats last month. Dialga also dropped 2 spots on the rated stats, from #3 to #5, with Palkia taking its place. Groudon also experienced the same drop, and with Palkia rising it's a sign for rain's strength and being the preferred weather over others. The top #6 in the 1337 stats also make a standard rain-stall team, perhaps a clear view at the metagame as it is now? I'm glad to see Manaphy at #18 on the 1337 stats, it's very underrated and very powerful. Especially because it didn't exist last month's 1337 stats! Gliscor holding the last spot on the 1337 stats is so WRONG. Gliscor is the most annoying shit I've ever battled, it's very solid and a great anti-metagame Pokemon. OK So lets get the stats party started. The king has reclaimed his rightful spot ! Thats right, Dialga's breif stint as King of Ubers (1337) is over with Kyogre reclaiming the top spot while the eternally overshadowed Groudon has edged out the might Mewtwo to claim the second spot in Rated Ubers. Incredibly, Deoxys-S has jumped an amazing 16 places to claim no. 3 ! So do you see what I see ? I SEE RETURN OF HO ! ok jokes apart, I'm quite happy people have forsaken that god damned ferrothorn who slipped 6 places while Mewtwo slipped 5. So while this shows the trend of rising offense in Ubers, it seems the ladderboard leaders would rather Ubers remain Stallish with the 1337 top 10 being mostly members who fit on Stall teams with Tentacruel jumping up 6 places. So, quite the month of changes it seems eh ? Lets analyze this !

Glad to see that Kyogre took its throne back. You posted the same stats for lead usage and rated usage by the way. There's no way Kyogre only got 13% usage
Also, Gorebyss in the 1337 usage? Goddamn smashpass...

Interesting. I'm quite surprised about Arceus' poor placing, though I suppose I didn't actually see it that much. Same goes for Manaphy, I didn't see it much and I'm quite surprised it's got #18. Gliscor + Gorebyss are pretty surprising too...
But yeah, go Kyogre!

What's the cut-off for 1337? I think that you can reduce it a bit because 300 or so battles per month, even though it's best vs best, can't form the best view of the metagame...

I'm surprised Blissey doesn't appear at all in the 1337 stats, whilst Chansey is near the top, considering they're quite similar.

Feraligatr is no joke in Ubers. +1 LO Sheer Force Ice Punch can 2HKO Groudon. Waterfall in rain takes out Arceus, Superpower nails Ferrothorn and Dialga.
| 170 | Feraligatr | 44 | 0.260% | 39 | 0.287% | I actually don't mind using Feraligatr in Ubers but look at that usage. It's not worth trying at all LOL. Also if Gyarados can't make it, Feraligatr never will :P What happened to all the Venusaurs that dominated Sun Ubers in early BW? Hydreigon deserves more love. Gyarados > Lugia because of Intimidate, more power, Taunt and less weakness!

Ahhh... Mewtwo, the original Uber... I remember when it was the most awesome thing ever, and back in RBY, if you could get 3 Amnesias on your Mewtwo, it had 999 Special, and was practically unstoppable. Mewtwo vs. Mewtwo was the entire thing. Damn, it's improved so much, and I'm really happy to see it in the 2nd spot for Rated Ubers. If it had a move like Kyogre's Water Spout, and there was a Psychic-type weather... damn, that would be frickin' awesome!!! Coming off of a higher Sp. Atk than Kyogre, and being WAY faster... Gen VI, you need to make this.

Amazed to see Gorebyss have such low usage. It may not have Spore but it's a lot bulkier than Smeargle, and has the bonus of OHKOing Skarmory with +2 Surf in Rain with SR damage. It's Defense stat is also awesome, letting you it take unboosted Extremespeeds from Rayquaza and Arceus fairly easily. However, it requires Light Screen and Reflect because Zekrom and Kyogre outspeed it with a +Spd nature, and both can do quite a number on it (though it outspeeds with Swift Swim).

This is probably because I'm still quite new to Ubers, but I'm surprised that Giratina sees more use than its O-forme. Most balanced/offensive teams use Giratina-O in my experience, and Giratina is only used on Stall teams (again, this is all from personal experience, please correct me if I'm wrong). Giratina-O is an awesome stallbreaker with that SubCM set, and a fantastic spinblocker.

I think that's a cause of Exteme Killer fear. Giratina puts such a cold-stop to it, it's actually quite ridiculous. Burning the Extreme Killer completely makes it ineffective and comepletely shuts it down. From there, along with Entry Hazards support, Giratina can simply Dragon Tail the opponent to rack up damage. Giratina-O also puts a stop to Arceus by using Will-O-Wisp, but packs more power than bulk (and he is VERY bulky). But after doing so, Giratina-O actually becomes a dead-weight, as +2 Shadow Claw would leave it at about 30%. Giratina actually works pretty well on Balanced teams, as with the hazards support and Dragon Tail, you can easily frustrate your opponent, especially with such amazing bulk. The SubCM Giratina-O is rarely seen, but very annoying to deal with.
