Little Cup OU list
Current one generated from jan/march/feb stats, will be updated whenever new stats come out since we don't have to worry about destabilising LC UU.
Anorith, Cyndaquil, Eevee, Horsea, Magby, Magnemite, Onix, Slowpoke, Squirtle, Wailmer, and Wooper are no longer OU. Abra, Aipom, Bagon, Chimchar, Koffing, Omanyte, and Totodile are now in OU. There are now 39 Pokemon in Little Cup-OU. Code:

My predictions --- The only "locks" to stay in the top 5 will be Gligar (thanks to phenomenal stats, typing, and moves) and Gastly (best choice scarfer, has 3 immunities and hits everything hard enough to 2hko (except lileep in sand, some bronzor, and munchlax). As far as croagunk, hounour, and munchlax go, they are definitely not guaranteed to retain their top 5 status. Machop is now becoming popular as far as fighting-types go thanks to DynamicPunch and having merit as a lead. With Snover's fairly high usage, is a water absorber / RD counter so important? Houndour is not digging the high usage of Carvahna, who can kill Houndour as well. Vahna makes a much better sweeper, although Houndour does have him beat as far as mixed sets go. Munchlax is the best special wall in LC but the game is shifting to physical attackers in my eyes, or even more stallish play. Munchlax is still very good but it is already teetering at that 5th slot, don't be surprised to see Chinchou or Bronzor jump him. Krabby and Lileep will jump to OU I think, its rapid popularity thanks to Eo is catching on. Krabby is a great Agility sweeper and only 2 slots down from the cutoff. As far as the metagame goes: More physical attackers with a special sweeping cleaner, such as Mantyke. |

Yeah, I'm definitely expecting Lileep to jump up there, it's incredibly hard to kill in Sandstorm and stuff. I'm kind of surprised to see Anorith drop, though... his speed and Attack are great, it's too bad he's not seeing more usage.

I think the #littlecup cups would actually give a more accurate reading of what's being used. Anyway, no surprises here.

I'm not sure how great stats from the #littlecup cups would be because, for example people like Eo use the same team every time, which would end up weighting the stats.

When the next set of stats comes out, I'm going to try and extract LC stats from the unrated CaP battles. There will be a fair amount of pollution from unrated NU/other NFEs, but it should be possible to filter out a majority of the noise. Not sure if we should base the OU list off that, but it's always nice to have more stats.

Incidentally, I know the lists are based primarily off of usage, but usage depends on which Pokemon are effective and whatnot. For the most part, I think we have a fairly accurate reading of that...
