I was sad when DF died :( then I was sad again when jalmont died ):
But other than that it was a really fun game. I loved how HD got half the game against him by like c2 lol. I'm also glad nobody sold anybody out to anybody from within the alliance!

General Spoon’s comments will appear like this. theangryscientist’s scant few comments will appear like this. This game was a followup to Mafia360, in that it all players were neutrals who needed to kill 3 other neutrals. HP was added to facilitate more ways to kill people than “having the most people who are willing to vote with you.” The unicycle system was chosen to keep the game flowing quickly. Additionally, all of the roles were rather powerful in some way. Players If your section isn't as long as some of the other players, that doesn't mean that we think you did nothing. It just means that we are forgetful. Metal Bagon - Died Cycle 1
...
Role Comments: One of the two healers in the game. Additional health is restored when the target is below half of their max HP, to make it less impossible to heal people. Player Comments: Metal Bagon gave his alias to somebody, perhaps TalkingLion. TalkingLion (maybe) told Metal Bagon’s alias to HD, and HD made certain that Metal Bagon was the first casualty. MrcRanger97 - Died Cycle 2
...
Role Comments: If I had to pick a weakest role in the game, it would probably be this one. While it can hit through bodyguards, its attack is still only 3. It also had a current HP inspection (hereafter referred to as “CHP Inspect”) to make it a bit more powerful. CHP inspects were sprinkled around the game with the assumption that they would be somewhat useful, and they were. Player Comments: When Ranger shared his role with HD, he accidentally left in his alias. So he kind of ended up working with HD because of this, but never did get sheet. Then zorbees asked HD to lynch one of his enemies, and HD chose Ranger, which allowed the hilariously retarded (and desperate) campaign to smear HD to gain ground. Infinity.Cypher - Died Cycle 2
...
Role Comments: This role was created because I wanted to make a role that starts off the game ridiculously strong, and then becomes nothing that special by lategame. And so I made a progressively worse mayor. Player Comments: Infinity.Cpyher joined HD’s alliance (the Lavanauts) pretty early. Also in the Lavanauts was his enemy, TalkingLion, but not much came of that other than Cypher damaging TL for 3 HP, which was immediately healed by HD. He was randomly inspected, and then was attacked en masse by Walrein’s alliance (the Creeps) on Cycle 2, killing him that cycle. Aura Guardian - Died Cycle 3
...
Role Comments: This redirecter was, in a game of good roles, one of the better roles. Its HP and attack were lowered slightly because this role’s redirection was a great source of damage, especially if it redirected the high attack people. A CHP inspection was also tacked onto it. Player Comments: Aura Guardian was also a member of the Lavanauts. And he certainly caused quite a bit of trouble with his role while he was alive. On Cycle 0 he caused Jalmont to blow his hook on Dummy007. On Cycle 1 he redirected kingofkong’s inspection (and attack) to Metal Bagon, who died that cycle anyways. And on Cycle 3 he redirected Dummy007’s safeguard (and attack) to Walrein, which, as is described in Dogfish44’s section, caused Dogfish44 to die. Aura Guardian was killed on Cycle 3 by the Creeps because they had figured out the role associated with his alias. Dogfish44 - Died Cycle 3
...
Role Comments: A reverse martyr could be a very valuable member of any alliance. This reverse martyr had a large amount of HP, and a way to recover HP on its own as well. Player Comments: Dogfish44 never did get into one of the alliances, which greatly hurt his chances of winning, given how much more “alliance oriented” his role was than others in the game. He started to work with Walrein, and reverse-martyred kingofkongs on Cycle 2, causing him to take about 8 damage. On Cycle 3, he reverse-martyred Walrein. Also on Cycle 3, Spiffy was bodyguarding Dogfish44. However, Aura Guardian redirected Dummy007’s safeguard to Walrein, which in turn hit Dogfish44, causing Spiffy’s bodyguard to fail. In the end, about 26 damage was sent Dogfish44’s way; enough to kill him even if he had full HP. His trust was sorely abused, as he was not going to be let into the Creep alliance anyways, and they would have likely killed him later in the game if he lived that long. HD - Died Cycle 4
...
Role Comments: The other healer role. Player Comments: HD created the Lavanaut alliance, and managed to make many players upset with him with his blackmail strategy that should have, by all rights, done nothing. What HD ‘blackmailed’ people with was their role name. He did not have their alias, and he did not know their abilities. Despite this, some players actually felt pressure from this somehow, and refused to work with HD later on. HD tried to blackmail Jalmont, kingofkongs, and Dummy007 with their actual aliases. However, when the blackmail should have worked, it for some reason didn’t, probably Walrein told them not to cave, and HD did reveal Jalmont and Dummy007’s aliases: [12:59] GeneralSpoon I guess they were more afraid of walrein than then you revealing their alias [13:00] HD_AFK nope his dick went so far up their asses [13:00] HD_AFK it gave them a spine On Cycle 2 he had MrcRanger97 lynched, as zorbees wanted one of his enemies lynched. Ranger really had little choice but to go along with HD after he had accidentally forgotten to remove his alias from his role PM when forwarding it to HD. Jalmont (and other Creeps) jumped at this opportunity, distorting what facts they had available until “HD lynched a guy who made a dumb mistake for the benefit of his ally” became “HD IS A BLACKHEART DO NOT TRUST. TRUST ME I AM RIGHT.” And some players bought what they were saying. Later on, imperfectluck wanted into the Lavanauts, and HD took a vote. All the other Lavanauts were for ipl being included, and HD let him in, despite not wanting to. imperfectluck promptly gave HD’s alias to the Creeps, which caused him to be lynched. zorbees - Died Cycle 5
...
Role Comments: One of the last roles created, this role just got better and better the later in the game it was. Player Comments: zorbees joined the Lavanauts, and on Cycle 2 asked for one of his enemies to be lynched, which in hindsight is probably one of the main reasons they lost momentum and ultimately lost (the other was Infinity.Cypher being killed). He increased his attack to 5 as quickly as he could, and then pounded on Walrein until he was lynched. Walrein - Won Cycle 5
...
Role Comments: A robot voter. Player Comments: Walrein was a member of the Creeps, and did help them out a bit with planning and his role. He tried to win early, on Cycle 3, by having all of the Creeps kill his enemies. This would let him win, and leave the Creeps without his role. It was going to work too, until Spiffy noticed what he was doing and stopped it. In addition, Spiffy told me that if he couldn’t stop the Creeps from attacking zorbees, he would bodyguard zorbees to prevent Walrein from winning yet. Walrein gave some rather bad advice (subjective) to other Creeps, telling them to not change their votes even though HD was threatening to reveal their aliases, and HD did reveal Jalmont’s and Dummy007’s aliases as a result. Walrein was the player most responsible for Dogfish44’s death, as Dogfish44 died as a direct result of what Walrein told him to do. imperfectluck - Died Cycle 5
...
Role Comments: One of the two bodyguards in the game. In hindsight, it may have been a good idea to place a restriction of some sort on them. Player Comments: ipl was inactive in the earlygame, and then bumbled his way into the Lavanauts. After this, he gave HD’s alias to the Creeps, hoping to get on their sheet. Unfortunately for ipl, he moved far too slowly, as Spiffy had already been a member of the Creeps for about 2 cycles or so, so they had no interest in picking up ipl at this point (if they ever would given his reputation). They had plans to kill ipl before he gave them HD’s alias, and they carried them out. Quagsires - Died Cycle 6
...
Role Comments: A persuader. It wasn’t clear in the role PM, but it applied to the vote on the following cycle. Player Comments: Quagsires lied low all of the game, which no offense to Quagsires, was what I expected. What I did not expect was Vintage Books to claim Quagsires’s alias as his own, causing Quagsires to be down to 5 HP in no time. He limped along for a few more cycles, until the Creeps blew a lynch to take off his remaining 3 HP. Ace Emerald - Died Cycle 6
...
Role Comments: One of the two full inspectors in the game. Player Comments: Ace Emerald worked with the Lavanauts most all of the game, and was eventually killed by the Creeps when they discovered his alias. Though, granted, at the start of Cycle 4 they thought he was at low HP, when he was actually at full HP. It then took them until Cycle 6 to finish him off, as not all of the Creeps who said they were attacking him actually were. pokemonrocks777/Engineer Pikachu - Died Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: One of two hookers in the game. Player Comments: pokemonrocks777 played the game a bit, doing some things. Then he became inactive for a bit, and Engineer Pikachu was subbed in for him. Engineer Pikachu also did some things, and then eventually died. I don’t know a whole lot about what these two did, I guess. pokemonrocks777, upon being told he was subbed out, promptly pasted his role PM in the thread. Thankfully, Superpluff was online to delete his post before it could be seen, and he ended up blacklisted for this stunt. Galladiator/Spiffy - Won Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: The other bodyguard in the game. Player Comments: Galladiator was somewhat active, but then I learned that he would not have IRC access for a whole week, so Spiffy was subbed in. Spiffy joined up with the Creeps, and sorta revitalized them. He also stopped Walrein from winning, thereby leaving the game, on Cycle 3. Spiffy had great input in their planning, though he often attacked somebody different than he told the Creeps he was attacking. Fatecrashers - Died Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: Nostradamus and negative voter. Player Comments: Fatecrashers was another member of the Lavanauts. He could have asked some really cool things with this role, as the restrictions on it may as well have not existed if he was willing to abuse to ordering of the playerlist and creative enough (he would have been allowed to indirectly ask about more than his restrictions allow him to ask about). He only did this once though. His alias was eventually found by the Creeps, and they lynched him off. Ditto - Won Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: An improved tracker and watcher, able to tell if an ability or attack is used. Player Comments: I never did get to learn how useful this role could be, as Ditto never targetted anything worth mentioning with it. Ditto was a bit inactive in the earlygame, and at some point the Creeps picked him up, and he helped them plan some. He then won. kingofkongs - Won Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: The other inspector. Player Comments: kingofkongs was an early member of the Creeps. Jalmont - Died Cycle 7
...
Role Comments: The other hooker. Player Comments: Jalmont was an early member, one of the founders, of the Creeps. He took it upon himself to begin a half-baked smear campaign against HD, which usually got him booted from the chat for spamming in all caps. It did eventually gain ground, though more through a mistake HD made than anything Jalmont was doing right. When Jalmont refused to cave to HD’s blackmail, HD revealed Jalmont’s alias, and Jalmont got down to 4 HP before too long. Spiffy protected him for a few cycles, and without that protection he would have died. Then Spiffy won before his bodyguard priority came up, and Jalmont was left without protection, and Vintage Book’s attack killed him. Layell - Died Cycle 8
...
Role Comments: An alias->Smogon name inspection, as well as a CHP inspection. The alias->Smogon name inspection is pretty much a role name inspection, assuming that you know what role names all the players have, like you would if you had access to one of the alliance sheets. Player Comments: Layell mostly sheeped his vote to whatever the Creeps were voting. He was really close to winning; if Darkpenguin67 had not been hooked on Cycle 7, TalkingLion would have died, and Layell would have won. Vintage Books - Died Cycle 8
...
Role Comments: This was probably the best role in the game. A CHP inspection, some HP recovery, extra HP, extra attack, and a more powerful vote. Player Comments: Despite his WC being fully compatible with all member of the Lavanauts, Vintage Books did not want to work with them anymore when the Lavanauts tried to lynch RaRe555, as he was instead working with RaRe555, who was a Creep. He must have not realized that RaRe555 was working with people who needed to kill him. If he had stayed with the Lavanauts, things could have gone far different, given how powerful his role was. Instead he was taken in, and then killed when he was no longer needed. ginganinja - Won Cycle 8
...
Role Comments: This role was given a high attack power, as well as a CHP inspection and some protection against inspections. Player Comments: ginganinja was recruited by the Creeps, and while he worked with them, he usually attacked whomever he felt it would be best for himself to attack. His IPV was never actually broken. Darkpenguin67 - Died Cycle 9
...
Role Comments: One of the two safeguards in the game. In hindsight, they should have probably had a restriction of some sort. Player Comments: Darkpenguin67 voted with the Lavanauts for awhile, and then started to vote with the Creeps. I am uncertain as to why. When HD revealed Dummy007’s alias, Darkpenguin67 mostly attacked and safeguarded him to ensure the attack would hit. TalkingLion - Won Cycle 9
...
Role Comments: Role name inspection and CHP inspection. Player Comments: TalkingLion was an early member of the Lavanauts, and then he suggested to HD that he mole the Creep alliance that was being formed, as they were talking to him looking to recruit. HD agreed, and TalkingLion joined the Creep alliance. I do not think that TalkingLion knew how good of a move joining both of the large alliances was. He did send some information back to the Lavanauts, though it was pretty much only aliases. I do not believe that he was withholding information, rather that he is just not a good mole. He was also an inactive player, and almost managed to lose despite being in both the alliances that formed. RaRe555 - Won Cycle 9
...
Role Comments: The only kidnapper in the game, it could also inflict respectable damage to the person who was currently kidnapped. Because of this, it had a lower attack than normal. Player Comments: RaRe555 was recruited by the Creeps, and worked with them until he won in the end. Dummy007 - Won Cycle 9
...
Role Comments: The other safeguard. Player Comments: Dummy007 was an early member of the Creeps, and he was paranoid as hell. At one point when his HP dropped to 15, he was worried that HD was behind it as being dropped to 15 HP put him into lynch range. He refused to be blackmailed by HD, so his alias was posted in public. He was attacked every night by Darkpenguin67 for a while, but eventually won. Awards Best Move: Walrein sacking Dogfish44. Best Move: TalkingLion managing to ingratiate himself to both alliances. Worst Move: HD lynching MrcRanger97. Worst Move: dumbasrocks777 pasting his role pm after subbing. Funniest Play: Jalmont’s death. Funniest Play: Jalmont’s smear campaign. Best Player: HD Best Player: HD Cutest Player: Ditto Cutest Player: Ditto Player most in need of a stoked ego: Walrein Player most in need of a stroked ego: Ditto Last edited by General Spoon; Mar 25th, 2012 at 4:07:41 PM. |

Thank you, tas, I agree that I am super duper!!!!
#submarine was a good channel; we arranged many a LoL game in it I followed this game's progression but didn't make any efforts to have behind-the-scenes knowledge (rare for me, I think it was because I was so busy actually playing for once that I didn't really have much motivation...). Seems like it went pretty well, though like any game like this it all comes down to getting in alliances and working with them :x
