Are you sure you can't transfer a Ludicolo with Dive? It's not a HM move in DP so maybe it would be exempt? I don't know, haven't tried it..

Grass Knot's power against Gyarados is 120, but the type matchup is only neutral. There are worse things to bring out against a Gyarados. At least you resist all of its powerful attacks.

So, why is everybody so down on Giga Drain? Yeah, Energy Ball is more powerful, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better. Giga Drain now has 10PP (16 after PP Ups), so you don't have to worry as much about running out. I haven't done calculations, but wouldn't Giga Drain be better than Energy Ball in most situations if Ludicolo also has Leech Seed and carries a Big Root instead of Leftovers?
