Yeah, gg. Finally found a battle! Woo haha
My team really doesn't work against the standard stuff haha My two losses were against teams with Volcarona using a different item than I expected, although I did overpredict the first turn too (because of guessing the item incorrectly).

Just disconnected by Julius (Mexico) with 1790+ points after winning 4-0. He uses a rain team and disconnected twice against me also in the past International Challenge...watch out

Protip: If it's obvious that your opponent can't change the weather due to the lack of weather-inducers, or their team benefits from your weather you don't need to protect your weather-inducer that much. 4-0'd some poor sap because I kept killing his other guys while he insisted on protecting his weather-inducer.

team:goatee 5 wins, 2 losses, 1 disconnect
team:ee 2 wins, 1 loss My 2 losses on team:goatee were due to either a miss or foe barely surviving a turn, so things got haxy there. 1 disconnect the opponent was clearly being swept by super effective moves on them. I don't expect to get much playing time in as I got lots of packing and other things to do.

Just lost another match, I'm now 7-2. He was Matt from NY, don't know if he's from here, but he deserved the win. I just realized how Infernape weak my team is.
Now it's too late to change it ._.

Woohoo... another 15 matches tonight! 2 d/c's, but one of them was my wi-fi acting up :p
Also, Quintus, what's your ingame name? I've written down my matches, and I haven't come across anybody from Germany who I've 3-0ed. All won, no serious hax, so that puts me: Wins: 20 Losses: 0 D/Cs: 2 Ranking: 1728 Three vids today... 14-97385-90372 - vs Soon (Singapore) My first Smogoner match, I have an unwavering fear of any and all Gastrodons - Chandelure is my only check, and he doesn't last long. I was also intimidated by his Hitmontop in team preview (no pun intended), so I have to say I'm quite pleased with myself. GG Soon, I can't remember if there was any haxx but I don't think so, I hope you do well in matches to come! 79-75220-81884 - vs Ganjah (Mexico) I think the first match against what I would call a standard team. I made a slight mistake Thunder Waving Espeon, add that to the amount of crits Ganjah got and I was lucky his Espeon was modest ^_^ Honestly, all it would've taken to beat me there was a timid nature. Learned the hard way, GG Ganjah! 77-63332-59906 - vs Arley (Columbia) Oh...My...GOD...closest match I've ever played. Each turn the tables tipped, and I was constantly left wondering if he - or I - had gained the upper-hand. Adding Gastrodon, Jolteon, Quick Guard Archeops and that blasted Hitmontop certainly didn't help much. I nearly timed out on my command time at one point. A tad of prediction and a large amount of luck (not haxx to clear anything up) allowed me to scrape the game, GG Arley. Overall, I've had a great day, despite school. (Well, what can ya say?) May have a bit less time tomorrow, but if I keep this pace up, I'll be walking up and down the top of the leaderboard. Yeah, fat chance, I know.

Up to the 50 battles played mark. Now at 1749, since I lost two at the beginning of the day and had to recover points to get over 1700 again.

W/L/DC: 17 – 3 - 2 I am doing better then expected with my Zoroark + Shedinja team. Sadly, I can't use the combo too much, because lots of people have 3 or more pokemon who can hit Shedinja SE. Other 4 are just normal goodstuf mons, working really good together.

Here's my record so far:
Match 1: Spanish, standard Hitmontop, Garchomp, Tyranitar etc. team, disconnected on the first turn (I think genuine connection error) Match 2: English, looked like an in-game team but with a Cloyster too. Disconnected after I KOd his last Pokémon Match 3: French, another (underlevelled) in-game team, but with a shiny Typhlosion. Disconnected before I KOd his last Pokémon Match 4: English, Kanto-only team, WON Match 5: Canadian, in-game/underlevelled, won Like I said before, I'm using a gimmick team (Alder's six Pokémon) so I get the feeling people feel a bit more insulted at the fact I beat them? Hoping to get some more in when I'm not expected to be revising though. |

Yup. Nice team. I'm just recycling mine from the Philly VGC because I'm lazy and can't build a team worth crap.

Only just started, using a slight variation of my Philly team with.
Currently 3-0-0. First game I got some misses near the end but a successful double Protect saved my day. Second and third were versus not terrible teams but just average players |

Just made it to 20-0! I made it to the 1700s not too long ago, I should be at 1710 or so right now.

I got internet connection back at 8:45 last night. I played a little last night and went 9-3 with a 1576 rating. I currently am 12-3 and broke into 1600. I wish I had more time!
