Yeah sorry Flame, not a fan of Fire Spin + Heat Wave. Comboing it with Flamethrower/Fire Blast would have been a different story.

In fact with its particular combination of abilities and typing its nigh impossible to break the Endure either. Scorchstrike seems reserved to this fact and just lets loose a Flamethrower to do all the damage that he can. The Charizard isn't totally reserved to coming out on the losing end of this match though as it gets up a Protective barrier just in time to stop ASB's Poison type crutch, Venoshock, from hitting him hard. Both mons call it a time out to end the round and chill out. Morufon looks almost out here but it might have one or two more tricks to play and the Toxic on the Fire type is doing its job. Someone on IRC said they thought it would work, but I knew it was still dicey, hence the sub. Needed to be Heat Wave since otherwise it'd be Agilidodged.

A Shedinja would be proud of this effort. Morufon kicks the round off by releasing some Powders all over the ASB arena that find their mark and lull Scorchstrike into a Light Sleep. He then takes the time while the Charizard is dozing to zip around and set up some clones of himself. Once Scorchstrike does wake up the big orange beast is angered and confused and the star of flame that he blasts can't even manage to hit anything! That might come back to hurt him. Venomoth ends the round with another Chill while Charizard meaninglessly Flare Blitzes its way through a clone. Toxi-Stall at its finest right here folks. Flamestrike XOA 140/310: 45%

That is not before she takes a whack from the rocks on the way in. Sensing his end is near the Charizard acts slowly to charge up something very powerful while Togekissu just whacks him right in the face with a blast of charged energy. The Empowered Fire Blast that the psuedo Dragon fires back with htis hard through, especially with his Blaze now active. In fact it goes so far as to burn the Togekiss and Scorchstrike finally gets to return the favour on some residual damage. Unfrotunately it is the very definition of too little too late though as a second Ancientpower sees him out of this match and it's left to Vinestrike to fend for herself out there. In what should be a stroke of luck for him Togekissu manages to act first and ring a Bell to Heal her status before giving Vinestrike the chance to inflict more. But in a horrible turn of events the Toxic that the Venusaur tries to lay on the massive bird misses! Togekissu is quick to respond with her signature Air Slash, but Vinestrike manages to avoid the very high flinch chance and fire back with a successful if slightly underpowered Venoshock. In fact the Togekiss starts glowing and lets Vinestrike get another Shock in as she looks to be quite eager to end this.. Unfortunately that eagerness may have gotten the better of her as a Super Sky Attack misses completely and Vinestrike is left standing! For now at least. Vinestrike doesn't want to risk Togekissu's abilities coming into play so she nulifies them with a Worry Seed while the Flying type is cooling down. Togekissu then conspicuously rings another Heal Bell even though she has no status to be cleared of while Vinestrike responds with another Venoshock that is once again underpowered by Togekissu not actually being poisoned. Someone should teach this mon Sludge Bomb stat! Togekiss goes back to that old standard and Air Slashes Vinestrike once again but even if it still had all its abilities the flinch just wasn't going to come. Vinestrike calls and end to this one with a Super Venoshock that does just enough to knock Togekissu out.. unfortunately it also used up all of the Venusaur's energy and she goes down too and seals the victory for Elevator Music.
