It probably means Ev's, if you look at the HP up and vitamins, it also says it raises base stat, so chances are its just better EV vitamins.

But he used EV in almost every item that raises (or takes) EV.

Just looking at the hidden hollows list, how viable are any of these for obtaining Pokemon for in-game use? I know cool stuff like Bagon and Nidoran are on post-e4 routes; but are there any notable opportunities to get good stuff early?

That market has items that possibly raise EVs by 255, though you miss out on an extra EV

That would still be amazing, you could easily fix that with a EV-reducing berry. I hope someone can test these items soon, I only have one person in my Join Avenue so far xD

IIRC by using one reducing berry the EV's get dropped to 100 EVs.. Right? Don't hit me if I'm wrong :P

RNG "abuse" just sounds so negative...

Well, there's this whole list in the Dojo that specifically raises EVs:
...
And then there's this stuff in the Cafe that says they raise base stats:
...
One says they raise EVs and the other says base stats???

I'm pretty sure it was only like that on 4th gen, in BW I think they always reduce 10. :P

Hamstern, you have it confused. They reduced EVs by 10 in Gen III and IV, not V, it was actually very welcomed change.

So are we gonna get some of the Japan-only DW starters; e.g. Chlorophyll Bulbasaur, Speed Boost Torchic?

Look at the B/W Kyurem thread in OU (I believe that's where it's at). I think it was not true if I was reading that correctly.

Also, Gen IV definitely had it where 1 berry would bring you back to 100 EVs because I remember having to use 11 to bring it to 0. I'm not sure about Gen V but Gen IV certainly brought you back to 100. |

The term "base stat" has been used in-game for EVs/stat exp since the RBY days if I'm not mistaken.

Original: http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1541370
After dojo: http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1541404 After cafe: http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1541448 I don't know why serebii calls it a dojo, the shop looks like a real life gym, and I just tested out the dojo and cafe. Special defense level 4 apparently costs 6k pokedollars to put in 4 EVs. And the speed one for the Cafe puts 20 EVs for 36k. So they're pretty much worse than vitamins, but I guess you might be able to pump stats after vitamins through this like the wings Edit: Also, you can't beef up a pokemon with max EVs already. That would've been cool. |

Would anyone happen to have a list of what new TM's the pokes are able to learn in BW2? I know Araidos can now learn X-Scissor and Klinklang can get Wild Charge, but I'm unsure of what else learned mew moves.
