(Ubers) B/W2 rain ubers

hello everybody. i was looking at some b/w2 walkthroughs and i noticed thaat it looked like a complete new game and not a sequel. and in addittion to that b/w2 has some new pokemon. i will be testing out some of those. here we go

i chose this set for kyogre because i want it to live long, which is possible because of chestoresto. scald over surf because of burn and power doesn't matter since it is defensive anyway calm mind to boost that sp.def. thunder for lugia and things like that.

thunder for obvious reasons. nasty plot for boosting. flash cannon for the new kyurems and other ice types. dark pulse for the psychic pokes. i kinda liked thundurus but therian forme is complete beast mode.

well if it isn't the infamous landorus. but then different. landorus-t got a nice attack boost. eq for stab stone edge for coverage. outrage for dragons and u-turn for scouting. this is an absolute beast and very good for some cleaning and sweeping.

huh a ho-oh in a rain team? yes indeed, this set is purely to bravebird everything. sacred fire for groudon. eq for coverage and weather ball basicly for filler because you will be using bravebird most of the time

well i am not sure about this set. it is fun to hit anything with a draco and let them think you will switch when you hit them in the face with an outrage. blizzard for more stab and focus blast for coverage

Ok... Let's see

Mewtwo w/ Psystrike sweeps the whole team. No questions asked.
Chesto Rest kyogre is gonna be raped by opposing scarfed kyogres packing Thunder.
No rapid spinner is gonna make life really difficult for Ho-Oh and Thundurus.
Ho-oh also doesn't like the rain either.
Scarf Palkia and Groudon tear through the team as well.

I'd recommend you rethink this team... entirely. Here's a few ideas:

Kyogre- Scarf, Thunder, Spout, Surf, Ice Beam
Ho-oh- Roost > Weather Ball, no choice band

thank you jerp, i havent encountered a lot of scarfed ogres and mewtwos that screwed over my team. but thank you very much for your opinion and help. maybe i should replace ho-oh entirely and switch him for something that can take on those mewtwos. though i dont like the idea of having scarf ogre because he is the person that has to win the weather war, he has to survive as long as possible, another reason why i didn't use scarf ogre is that i already have a very good scarfed poke, and two scarfers on the same team is a bit overdone. do you have any suggestions i could replace ho-oh with?

Also, on Thundurus, why are you running Flash Cannon? The reason Flash Cannon is barely used is because Steel coverage is all included in Fighting coverage. So you should use Focus Blast instead; plus, it has a higher base power.

The reason i use flash cannon over focus blast is simple. I am not that lucky and i keep missing when i can't afford to miss.

You'd be better off running either Resttalk Mono-Attacker or CM+3 Attacks instead of trying to split the difference. Even Thunder Wave Kyogre could potentially work better than this.

I can't see this being too useful. Having played with Thundurus-T in the past I can vouch for the general mediocrity of it. Volt Absorb is tempting especially with Kyogre, but the reality is that it's not hard to play around. Thundurus is also quite frail and is weak to two of the most commonly used offensive types in Ubers - Ice and Rock. If your opponent has either of these types on their team (Hint: they probably will) then you might as well kiss this guy goodbye. What previous posters said about Focus Blast over Flash Cannon is also true. Yes the accuracy is bad, but it's better to have good coverage with poor accuracy than bad coverage with perfect accuracy. Keep in mind that with Flash Cannon you cannot hit Dialga, Excadrill, or Ferrothorn, three of the most common pokemon in the format, for super effective damage. For a sweeper, that's a big problem.

For a better special sweeper, go with Darkrai or Mewtwo. Their coverage is roughly equivalent to what you'd get with Tundurus-T if you ran Focus Blast. For an electric resist, go with Excadrill, Giratina-O, Lati@s, Zekrom, Arceus-Ground...pretty much anything would be a suitable replacement for this.

The thing about Landorus-T is that he's slow, weak to ice, and Intimidate doesn't get a ton of utility in this format. Terrakion can easily replace him here since even though Terrakion is a bit weaker and doesn't get Outrage, his superior speed (and fighting STAB) makes him a better choice in nearly every other way.

I honestly can't think or a suitable replacement for this but it does need to be replaced.

How come you run Focus Blast on this when it's not optimal but on Thundurus-T you use, of all things, Flash Cannon? Anyway, you should definitely run max speed, Timid Nature, and Fusion Flare over your current spread. The ability to OHKO Forry and Ferrothorn outside of the rain is way more important than being able to hit Chansey with a physical attack.

So it can be locked deleted or anything in that direction. I have learned very much from you. And watching how some famous battlers battle helped me out too. You are not following any of the suggestions. This is not a place to just post random stuff and be a show off. Do. Not say sorry. We all know that people who do not follow suggestions are just post droppers which could actually get a better post on the front page. You should add longer descriptions and this is confusing to read so just ask to delete this. You also should be nice to people these suggestions and actually use them and edit your post. Some people take a whole twenty minutes to write these posts so actually fix it. They could have done something else like going to their friends house and do paintball instead of wasting their time for posting a useless post the user won't follow!

It has never been my intention to schow off. And in fact i did change my team and used things others said. But my team has now changed so much. I dont think it should be this rmt. Is hould be a new one. But thanks to you all my team is relatively complete and i can handle the changes myself. I dont think i can call it the same team when four pokes are different. But off course you could not have known that and therefore you are right in a sense. Well, i am quite done here. So if you poat something from now on, there is a chance i wont read it. I am very sorry for that.
