Hey, remember all that business on Encore?
Got confirmation from the higher ups; turns out you can't change targets after all. Ehehe...shit.

Oh well,at least the only thing this affected was an Encored Stomp or two.....Although it would favor me by removing Paradox before it could shoot a thunderbolt at the latest round, i suggest we let that slip,i feel it is rather too late for yet another retcon and i dont feel it is worth the trouble......i think EndQuote would agree with me,but i obviously cant speak for him. |

I'm fine with it the way it is, let's just change this from an official battle to a training battle so it doesn't matter so much and continue.
I'll have actions up when I'm a) not tired and b) can figure out a way around your flinch chance...

Pre-round
Round the Fourth: A war of attrition Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I must apologize for the prolonged absence, there was the intrusion of a rather rude fellow who attempted to disrupt the flow of the battle. However, the ASB staff has disposed of him, and we may now continue as normal. Both trainers have released their final pokemon - Matezoide a Mankey named Stephen, and Endquote a Budew named Aloe. Twilight remains the fastest of the lot, and begins the round by blowing another daimonji at Aloe. As she reels from the Fire Blast, Steve compounds the Budew's troubles (as well as Kindle's) by Sliding a salvo of Rocks their way. However, this doesn't stop Endquote's warriors from continuing their assault - declaring Stephen to be the most dangerous of the two, Kindle strikes him with a graceful, Acrobatic series of blows reminiscent of Tiger Crane, while Aloe opts for baser means, splattering the Mankey with a disgusting Sludge Bomb. Regardless of whether Twilight is genuinely smitten with Kindle or simply fighting him at his own game, the Ponyta subdues him with her Charms, causing him to lower his guard. Stephen chooses to play Mankey See, Mankey Do with his Chimchar nemesis and gives him an even cruder Encore, only to be rewarded with more Acrobatic kung fu to his snout while Aloe salvos another putrid Sludge Bomb at him. Twilight has had quite enough of that smell Aloe's sludge bombs are releasing, and thus proceeds to burn her with another Fire Blast, but is forced to relent as Stephen throws another Rock Slide at EndQuote's team. While this does end up scaring Kindle into immobility, Aloe is undeterred and releases yet another gangrenous Sludge Bomb, seeping into his wounds and causing grievous damage. It also appears to have caused Stephen's rage to peak. The lady seems to favor Matezoide this time around, but does she truly? I'm afraid we won't find out until this word from our sponsors, so please stay tuned. Skreeeeeeeeeeeee~! *Meanwhile, in Egypt...* Man, he's gonna EVISCERATE them for that. That pissed, Rico? That pissed.

Woo, Anger Point...
Thank goodness this is a training battle... Kindle: Flamethrower @ Mankey ~ Acrobatics @ Mankey ~ Acrobatics @ Mankey IF Mankey is underground on your action, target Ponyta, swapping a1 with a Dig of your own. IF Mankey faints, Chill a2 and Dig @ Ponyta a3. Aloe: Giga Drain @ Mankey ~ Giga Drain @ Mankey ~ Giga Drain @ Mankey IF Mankey uses Dig (Not extended), Double Giga Drain Combo @ Mankey IF Mankey uses an extended Dig, Sludge Bomb (Ponyta) IF Mankey faints, Sleep Powder @Ponyta ~ Toxic (Ponyta) We're in trouble, that's for sure.

Pre-round
Round the Final: A meteoric massacre Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. As you'll recall, the battle's conclusion was nigh at the end of the last round. And now, it begins. As the absolutely livid Stephen appears to be gathering various stones from the arena, Twilight covers him, using her Body to block all incoming attacks from EndQuote's pokemon. As a result, Kindle's Flamethrower is rendered good for little beyond triggering the Ponyta's flash fire ability, while Aloe only succeeds in absorbing little health with Giga Drain. It is then that Twilight leaves her Mankey compatriot to himself where he may release his rage in full - combining two Rock Slides, he bombards EndQuote's pokemon with enough stones to blot out the sun, were it up. I suppose this attack could be called, in the vernacular of those tabletop role-playing plebs, Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies. Of course, nobody has died at all, but Kindle has certainly fainted (much to Twilight's apparent worry), while Aloe has suffered a grievous wound, and is likely to faint herself if she doesn't do something immediately. Unfortunately, this is impossible, as the Budew is struck down by Twilight's Fire Blast immediately after, sealing Matezoide's victory. Well, that was a rather enjoyable bout, let's give congratulations to both our trainers and their pokemon for a job well done. Thank you, and good night. Skreeeeeeeeeeeee~! *Meanwhile, on the arena floor...* "<Ugh...that hurt...huh? What're you doing here?>" ![]() "<You took long enough waking up...thank Arceus.>" "<Aww, did someone worry about me?>" "<Sh, shut up! I'm only making sure you're alright so Steve doesn't get in trouble! And not because I don't want you hurt.>" "<Your face says otherwise.>" *Kindle gets a hoof in his. Meanwhile, in Egypt...* Well, that was fun. Needs a little less verbosity, though. You've got no room to talk, boss.
