1) Get Pokemon Dream Radar (AR Searcher) on a Japanese 3DS (until U.S. release). Price is approx. $3.80 USD or 300 yen.

2) Collect the amount of Dream Orbs needed to unlock the levels to capture the genies: 400 orbs for Tornadus-T (level = Miracle Parts α), 600 orbs for Thundurus-T (level = Miracle Parts β), and 800 orbs for Landorus-T (level = Miracle Parts γ). You can collect Dream Orbs from shooting at pink clouds that appear throughout the game. These levels can be accessed once the amount of Dream Orbs needed to power up the Dream Tool sufficiently (the above amounts) have been obtained. They will appear as a singular cloud.

3) In the battles intercept attacks with your Dorion Beam and keep aiming your Dream Tool at it until you catch it. The orbs are a cost and are lost for each battle, so you must in total get 1800 Dream Orbs in order to get all three of the genies.

4) Obtain the Pokedex in your copy of Black 2 or White 2. This will unlock the ability to transfer Pokemon from the Dream Radar. Transfer the genies after you catch them.

5) Enjoy!

I know this is NOT an OU question, but was told to place it here when I asked where I should place the question...............

If Amoongus uses the move Rage Powder, but is holding the item Eject Button, when the new Pokemon is brought in after an attack on Amoongus, will the rest of the opponents attacks target the new Pokemon that replaced Amoongus, or will they revert to their attacks original targets?

As I said, NOT an OU question. Think GBU/VGC doubles, or GBU Triples if you want to ask about the viability of my question.

There's a VGC forum farther down the list, why where you told to ask here?

To answer your question, though, Rage Powder lasts for the duration of the turn, so yes, the second mon will attack you.

Does Roar/Whirlwind hit a pokemon in the semi-invulnerable state of Bounce?

On the tier list, why is Darmanitan-Z in Limbo and Meloetta-P in OU? Both are Pokemon that are only accessible if another forme of that Pokemon meets a specific criteria in a battle.

Also, what is the criteria for determining whether a NFE Pokemon is listed as NU or NFE? It can't just be usage since, looking at last month's usage stats for instance, Magmar was 132 and listed as NFE while Klang was 142 and listed as NU. Does it depend on whether a given Pokemon has an analysis?

When an egg is hatched, is its ability determined by the parent or is it random? Is there a way to increase the chances of getting a certain ability when breeding? And I'm specifically talking about HG and SS.

It's random, and no, there is no way to alter the chances of being born with a specific ability in gen 4. I had to breed 8 omanyte once before I got what I wanted.

In 5th gen, if the mother has her DW ability and the father isn't Ditto, there's a ~60% chance of the child having its DW ability. For regular abilities in all generations, it's a 50/50 chance determined entirely by the PID (even = ability 0, odd = ability 1), and there is no way to influence it except through RNG abuse.

RNG is kind of like firing a gun. Why shoot blindly in every direction until you're lucky enough to hit the target when you can just take the time to aim properly and hit it with one shot?

@Melvni:
Darm-Z is completely untested, which is why it's put in Limbo.
You are correct about NFE's tiers though, an NFE needs an analysis to be officially tiered.

Get a scarf latios, first off. I would say gensect because he kind of covers all grounds. Possibly Landorus-T? At this point, #ratemyteam on IRC would be helpful for you.

But this doesn't make sense. It can't be tested, as it's not an isolated form. Same goes for Meloetta-P. It's not possible to simply put it or Darmanitan-Z onto your team; you have to use the base form and then transform it during the battle. So how could they be tiered, when they are nothing more than properties of the base form?

Heatran, though it needs to be wary of Superpower and Hidden Power Ground, respectively.

The closest thing I can think of to filling all four of those criteria is SpD Skarmory in rain. I doubt you will find anything that fills all of them perfectly; everything that counters Volcarona is hindered by rain or beaten by Scizor.

Skarmory. Its fire weakness is halved in rain. It checks scizor. And can whirlwind away the boosts accumulated by volcarona. It can also hit volc super effectively with stab brave bird.

I am planning on getting a retail copy of both Black 2 and White 2. If i want my second play through to be on challenge mode, am I right in thinking I should play Black 2 first?

Ok so I ran some calcs and Heat Wave coming from a Life Orb Tornadus-T can (97% chance) OHKO Scizor and always 2HKO Ferrothorn in the rain. Is Heat Wave at all viable on Tornadus-T in the rain? I ask because many of my rain teams struggle with Ferrothorn and Scizor and the damage caused by Superpower (Iron Barbs+Life Orb recoil+stat drops) make me wary to use it on Ferrothorn, and after a Def drop, Banded Bullet Punch is a OHKO. I feel like Heat Wave is such a great coverage move, but can't be used because Tornadus-T is always in the rain.
