The Smogcast has returned after a very long hiatus! Join host MikeDecIsHere as well as our panelists Syrim, Taylor, Poppy, and Hugendugen as they discuss all of the changes that occurred from Black 2 and White 2 and the impact that it had on the Ubers Metagame. In this short, 35 minute edition of the Smogcast, you will hear information about:

Regenerator Ho-Oh
Kyurem-W and Kyurem-B
Multiscale Lugia

I cannot think of a better waste of half an hour. Interesting to hear how BW2 Ubers is shaping up, since I haven't really bothered yet to get used to Showdown or PO2... Regardless, it's just nice to know that the Smogcast is back from the grave. It didn't have the sheer humor of previous installments, but it would be unrealistic to expect that right off the bat from such a huge hiatus. It's commendable for this even to get made in the first place! Here's to more audial awesomeness in the future!

we were literally asked 5-10 minutes before the cast, completely impromptu. cut us some slack in the cohesiveness and humour department xD

big up to mike for taking this upon himself to contribute massively towards our lack of YT content. for the overused cast, im sure we will be more prepared regarding fluency and topics to discuss. overall i think we did a good job, notably syrim for taking the questions head on and giving solid feedback when asked.

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. This was a great experience to host, and hopefully I can improve my hosting for future casts to come (going to try to do one for each metagame)

As Poppy mentioned, this cast was completely impromptu. I would just like to thank everyone for being able to do this on the spot with about maybe...3 minutes of prep time. Big thanks to Poppy and Syrim for carrying the cast and stimulating the discussion (The SyrimCast), and thanks to Taylor and Hugen for being a part of this despite them having little experience with the metagame. It's always nice having different perspectives when doing this.

As for the content, I am currently working on the syllabus for the Overused cast, which will hopefully get done sometime in the near future. Hopefully, the episode will be much longer, due to the larger amount of changes in the metagame. We'll also work on the comedic value of the cast (might take a shot or two to loosen up for the next one xD), but bear in mind that it's pretty awkward trying to do this, so we will do our best.

Even after a years wait the smogcast is still good. Might not be as funny as SDS and Jabba but was well worth listening. Good job

Also I was kinda looking forward to the hype corner, maybe you could do that next time too.
