#othermetas - now featuring: mini-tournaments

Want to discuss about your new Giratina set in Hackmons? What about good strategies in Random Battle/Challenge Cup? Made a cool new Monotype and Streetmons team? Need to schedule a match for a meta that isn't implemented such as PU or Tier 10?

Whatever it is, as long as it relates to other metagames, #othermetas is your place.

Keep in mind that there might not be many people on there right now, and that timezones are a big factor regarding the activity of the channel.

We will now have daily IRC tournaments on #othermetas. Any tier that has a thread in this forum that isn't locked is eligible to be played in these tournaments. These tournaments will usually happen around 4-8 PM GMT -5. When one begins, you may nominate tiers that are to be played in the mini-tournament. After a few minutes, whichever metagame is nominated the most will be the tier for that tournament. You will have 20-30 minutes to build a team so don't worry if you don't have a team for that particular tier already.

So what are you waiting for? Get on that channel and participate in these mini-tournaments!

We just held our first mini-tournament today. The tier we played was 3 Pokemon Tier. It was a pretty fun tournament and we managed to get 8 people to participate which was awesome and surprising. The winner of the tournament was MrUncompetitive who ended up winning with a team of Reuniclus / Conkeldurr / Hydreigon.
