Turn 24

FlareBlitz called Darmanitan back!
FlareBlitz sent out Whimsicott!
The foe's Hitmonlee used Reversal!
Whimsicott lost 100% of its health!

Whimsicott didn't get an opportunity to move during turn 24 at all - is this normal in-game behavior? Just wondering.
This looks like an old bug we used to have. was either hitmonlee or darmanitan holding a toxic orb by anychance?

No, the scarf bug is real, and the Darmanitan U-turn bug is because U-turn didn't deal damage.

Another quick question...
Turn 3

Fentony called Porygon-Z back!
Fentony sent out Suicune!
Pointed stones dug into the foe's Suicune!
The foe's Suicune is exerting its pressure!

Mienshao used Hi Jump Kick!
The foe's Suicune lost 45% of its health!
Mienshao lost some of its HP!

Mienshao had Reckless. Using online damage calculators, I get a minimum 52% against max/max+ Suicune. There were no relevant field effects. Is Reckless accurately applied to Hi Jump Kick?

Default baton pass glitch

If you transform into the opposing pokemon and then use baton pass your pokemons sprite will be passed to,(not the pokemon you transformed into) as seen in http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-ou2584287

Hi, I just noticed that on the list of known glitches, it doesn't include that when you're put to sleep while using Outrage, Thrash, or Petal Dance, it doesn't let you switch.

Foul Play did only 20% to what was supposed to be a max Atk Metagross. I know that it was max Atk because his EQ did 89% on my max HP Ninetales, so the calcs match.

According to Honko damage calculator it should have done 38.46 - 45.05%, as Foul Play uses the opponent's Atk stat. Instead it did half of that so i suspect that in PS! it is wrongly implemented that when the opponent is burned Foul Play damage is halved. In reality Foul Play damage is halved only if the user is burned.

Im not sure but i believe foul play hasn't been implemented properly yet, I think for the moment it has a flat base power

No i set it up with a friend the jolteon was 252 speed and timid with 31 speed iv's, so there is no way the mew could not have out speed with out a scraf which my mew had and was able to select any move after transform without being stuck on just one.

Playing a game recently, I had two Pokemon using Life Orb with the Ability Sheer Force. Both of these Pokemon took 10% each time they used a move, despite the fact that Sheer Force is supposed to negate Life Orb damage.

It wasn't, but it will be after the next restart. Good find, thanks!

the bug that I am getting is that I do not seem to be able to play because it says that Aeguis is already taken, and correct it is taken by me, and the thing is that the internet kicked me, and when I reconnected, the game did not recognize me as ME. I went ahead and registered the account and checked if that worked. It didn't so I am guessing this is a bug.

Does the bug where you refresh and it goes to spectator mode always happen? because I think I've been able to refresh and get back into battle fine before.

Just wondering because it just happened to my opponent.

It happens when you have a ghost, in other words, if you reconnect before the server notices your previous session has disconnected. Alternatively, if you reconnect while having another PS window open.

The best way to fix it is to rejoin: use the commands: /leavebattle and /joinbattle.

I'll be fixing it as soon as I get some free time.

Mold Breaker doesn't make the pokemon attack like if it had its boosts when facing an unaware pokemon.

From Veekun:
Quote:
For example, this Pokémon's moves ignore abilities that would fully negate them, such as Water Absorb; abilities that would prevent any of their effects, such as Clear Body, Shell Armor, or Sticky Hold; and abilities that grant any general protective benefit, such as Simple, Snow Cloak, or Thick Fat. If an ability could either hinder or help this Pokémon's moves, e.g. Dry Skin or Unaware, the ability is ignored either way.
Replay of this happening:
http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ru2643066 skip to turn 11 to identify this happening, because all damage calculators give me something like this when going for the damage Fraxure should have done to its opponent:
+2 252 Atk Jolly Mold Breaker Fraxure Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Relaxed Leftovers Unaware Quagsire : 291-343 (73.85 - 87.05%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252Atk +2 Mold Breaker Fraxure (Neutral) Outrage vs 252HP/252Def Leftovers Quagsire (+Def): 73% - 87% (291 - 343 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

And based on the damage on that replay, it is obvious I got the one that Fraxure would have done without a boost

252 Atk Jolly Mold Breaker Fraxure Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Relaxed Leftovers Unaware Quagsire : 145-172 (36.8 - 43.65%) -- 99.83% chance to 3HKO

I can confirm that Foul Play halves in power if the opponent is burned rather than if the user is burned (see log below). I know it also does NOT halve in power if you are burned but I don't have that log handy.

This is correct - Levitate does not get removed by Roost, only the Ground-type immunity from the Flying type.

Okay, im honestly tired of this.......

This has happened to me and many other people countless times (last one was like 5 minutes ago). For some reason, the speed tiers occasionally fuck up and i usually lose a match because something dumb like a starmie outspeeding my max/max timid chloro venusaur in the sun. (yes, i checked my venusaur during the match to see, it had chlorophyll). Another example is when my toxic orb swellow outsped my opponents timid scarf rotom-C
(i knew it was scarf because it outsped my sceptile earlier in the match. It also happened to my friend when he was facing a landorus on the suspect ladder, it outsped his scarf genesect on a crucial turn, but then lost to his subSD garchomp. I do not have any logs atm, but i will try to get a replay where this glitch occurs. Has anyone else experienced this?

In pokemon Showdown I can't use Chansey with counter and sesmic toss on the same set. Can you (smogon) fix this?

This is technically only half broken; until it is fixed you can use that combination as long as Counter comes before Seismic Toss in your moveset. i.e. Counter, Softboiled, Seismic Toss, Toxic will work instead of Seismic Toss, Softboiled, Counter, Toxic.

Problem: Last resort/Pure Hackmons - Pssible coding problem on the move or tier exception

Explanation: Last resort failed (*wow*). Yes, I know how to use the move. The thing is, I had a poke with 2 moves, fake out and last resort. Fake out HITS, last resort failed. So my theory is either last resort is coded to hit only if you use/hit 3 diferent moves before, or hackmons has some exception/problem with last resort. And I say hackmons because I haven't tested it in any other tier, due to the fact that a pokemon with only those two moves is walled by a ghost type (if it doesn't have Scrappy).

Dewgong used Ice Shard!
It's super effective! The foe's Drifblim lost 39% of its health!
Dewgong lost some of its HP!
Dewgong fainted!
The foe's Drifblim used Substitute!
It was too weak to make a substitute!
Clith sent out Delibird!

Hustle gives you a 20% chance to miss your move in exchange for more power. Delibird had Hustle.

Did you have any 'undefined' moves in your moveset? View your team in Import/Export and see if you have

- Fake Out
- Last Resort
-
-

Removing any extra lines will fix this; they technically count as moves. Note that this only happens when you had a move in that slot previously and deleted it.
