guys when trying for a fossil pokemon how do i search for a seed..in the time finder iv standard seed and encounter type gift and min/max frame ????? 8?? in B2 and for the happiny egg too...help please...thx

Alright, first attempt on a new seed using EonTimer.

What timer0s did you hit? If the 2nd and 3rd were 10F4 I would just switch to it; chances are you'll find an eaqually good seed on it as well

Yeah, I'm going to switch over to 10F4 and try my luck there. I keep hitting 10F4 Timer0 seeds so I might as well.

Fossils are basically the same as stationaries, except the encounter type is Gift and there's no Synchronize. As for Happiny, I don't know. It might have its own special type like the Larvesta egg in BW1.

Christ almighty, no wonder I stuck with the 10F5 Timer0 seeds. This is slim pickings AND I can't even hit them

I've hit every damn nature and IV spread under the sun.

The latest failed Genesect RNG:

RNGReporter gave me a shiny frame with seed FB57D064A6804D7C on frame 830.

It was displayed as a synchable frame.

I hit my frame, captured a Pokemon, and it appeared to be of the original, non-synched nature.

My synch was Quiet and first in party, but the captured Pokemon was Adamant.

Other information:
Pokemon: Duosion (encounter slot 0)
Location: Route 9
Date: 11/06/12
Time: 02:26:38
Timer0: 10F5
Keypresses: Select-R

What could've gone wrong? (the Pokemon had the correct IVs, 31/whatever/31/31/31/0)

None of them match of the nearby frames for the other natures.
I'm using EonTimer to time things correctly.
I'm holding the right button.
I'm in a pokecenter with no moving NPCs.
I'm viewing the correct number of Chatot summaries.
And yet I'm getting pure randomness.

Will I have to scrap everything and run 30 calibrations to figure out what's wrong?

Are you actually using the Chatot cries to verify that you hit your seed? Because you'd save yourself a ton of time if you didn't bother getting Genesect when you were on the wrong seed and just reset instead.

Is it possible to RNG the Cobalion that you find near Lacunosa Town using PPRNG? There are moving NPCs in the area and I'm not sure how to find the shifted starting frame using PPRNG. Could someone tell me how I could do that?

Also, is it also possible to RNG Latios/Latias using PPRNG? (considering the fact that when you find them, they force you to move one step before the battle)

yeah im not near the giant chasm in the story yet...but i tried it in desert resort to remove the sandstorm but it didnt work there.... :(

Since C-Gear seeds don't exist in BW2 anymore, does anyone know how Entralink Abuse is done in BW2? Do you just do the same exact thing as the Standard Seeds (Stationary, Wild, etc), except that you start at IVRNG Frame 25?

This is in BW2
ok i tried using my other dsi(which i didnt change date as it messup the daily event)...i can confirm that you cant remove the fog by usual method..
i tried..
1saving in giant chasm,change date 1 month ahead,encounter a poke,KO it,and fogs still there..
2.changing date to 11/30 23.59 and stood in game an let the date roll to new month,battle a wild poke,KO, fogs there...
3.change the date to the birthday registered in the dsi,battle a wild poke,KO,fogs there..(but if you change the date to your B'day the fog in route 14 will go away)...

Any other solutions to remove the fog in giant chasm...please help....thx

so do you know what you are hitting? if your not seeing this in the adjacent seed finder try searching a wider range of timer0's and possibly the adjacent vcount as well. unless you know what seed you have hit there isn't much we an do to try and help you

Um...quick note about 9.96.4:

...I think there's a bug there. It's not the min seconds, either, because I get the same thing when I don't mess with that.

I'll go ahead and try with different min & max GxStats and see if that makes a difference, though.
