The opening of the cavern has been buried by a rockfall. You're stuck in here, with your Pokemon, and 3 other people.

The goal is simple: survive.

To do this, some may team up, while others kill each other. No matter what happens, the last survivor wins. However, the mystery still remains: What's up with this place?

The contestants find themselves in a cave with an eerie light, as well as strange runes on the sides. Their exit path has been blocked by a rockfall, so they are stuck. And it looks like I am stuck with them!

The light is a blue glow, and something about it seems very much off...

Guts: (innate) This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
No Guard: (innate) This Pokemon has an immense confidence from perfecting each of its attacks, giving them all perfect accuracy. Matezoide orders Primeape to look around for stuff. Primeape searches around the cavern.

A while later, Primeape returns to its trainer with a Fire Gem it picked up.

Note about items: All items disappear after the battle, so use them now or never use them.

Glacier Knight orders Mamoswine to go out and explore the cavern. Mamoswine looks around the walls, and there are five red rocks on the wall. They resemble Fire Gems, but you can't be too sure. In fact, there is a bit of heat radiating from them.

It looks as if a powerful force will be needed to remove them, such as a Pokemon's attack.

Emboar still wants to attack Yarnus, so it uses a Hammer Arm.

The round ends with Ambipom in very bad shape. Since one of the Litwick has been KOed, the cavern is now slightly dimmer. However, for some reason, the runes on the wall start to glow, though they are still illegible.

Recap of round: Primeape finds Fire Gem, and sets up a 15 HP Substitute. Ambipom goes all out on one of the Litwicks, KOing it. Mamoswine explores around. The runes say something about a stone, and Mamoswine finds five Fire-Gem-like objects in the walls, which would need an attack to extract. However, there is something weird about the Fire Gems. Emboar hits Ambipom with Arm Thrust, but misses with Hammer Arm, causing a slight tremor. Instead of taking it out on Emboar, the wild mons decide to let Ambipom have it, so now Ambipom is in a very bad position.

Glacier Knight then orders his Mamoswine to try to bury the lava with Mud Bomb. However, the lava proves to be too hot. The Mud goes into the lava, and taints the lava.
