As much as I'd love to bold my own name here, I just can't do it in good conscience. When I signed up for this tourney, I had been in ASB for less than two months. I won the last round with a 24 move Sableye and I don't expect to do it again. I didn't even have six pokemon to sign up with .______.

Comments: Pwnemon says that Jas lacks luck. Well, dogfish wishes he lacks luck. He has plenty of luck in Tourney---the bad sort, that is. We only need to look at his semifinal match. Watch as his Cyclohm gets flinched to death by Tomohawk's Air Slash. Oh, and then comes a triple Rock Slide crit flinch, which by the way has a 0.0006591796875% chance of occurring.

Also, in the interests of getting this thing moving on, I am giving 48 hours as of this post for everyone still in this who has not claimed yet to claim. The same applies for referee's willing to ref, though I forgot to mention: since this is finals, I expect the referee's to provide plenty of flavour, since this is supposed to be professional stuff. If I do not get enough refs that I deem suitable to provide flavour & be a good ref, I may have to step in & ref one of these finals.

Finally, yes this is the finals, but I want these finals to be done on time, which means I will be putting my foot down on inactivity. The 3 Day DQ Time will be in force, & you exceed this, I will VM/PM/tell you on IRC to hurry up & issue actions/ref the match. Unless you have a suitable excuse other than something along the lines of "I am still deciding" (In the case of battlers), you will have 24 hours to post before I/Your opponent calls DQ/I get a subref. This Tournament has lasted long enough. What I do not want is for this round to last in excess of 2-3 months. I also do not want people deliberately waiting until the last moment to post in their match. That sort of behaviour will not be tolerated, & may result in the extra 24 hour warnings being revoked, or much worse (DQ). The message I want to stamp across is that I do not want a repeat of the last few rounds. Everyone wants this Tournament to end, & I am going to ensure a speedy finish to this thing.

That said, good luck Team jassmashpwn & Team Cruel Britannia in the finals, make sure you guys claim, & may the best team win. Make sure you post on time to avoid anything bad happening to you/your team.

haha, i still don't entirely believe it. When we first saw the bracket, I said "we have a decent chance of making semis; I'm ok with top four." For a good month, the channel topic in #jassmashpwn (i'm going to miss that little channel) was "we made it to semis, now time to say our ggs." it's been an amazing experience, and i can definitely say that smash and jas are total broskis. Who knew that this tournament ending would be so nostalgic? It's been a wild ride.

Interesting to see how much has changed since this started, considering like three or four of the teams that signed up had Ditto.
