I am playing through Black 2 right now and that line caught me by surprise. It brought up some fond memories of NPCs like Youngster Joey. Which lead me to this.

Over the course of the franchise there have been some pretty non-sensical moves on the part of NPC's and some even better random one liners. What are some of your favourites??

This is what truly embodies the epic final battle against Ghetsis. After taking down Zekrom/Reshiram in N's team, it's time to take on the true king and have arguably a harder match against Ghetsis's Hydreigon, the true DESTROYER OF WORLDS.

I do remember the subway trainers having some pretty choice lines, but I can't find any on Google atm. Damn I want to go back and play the subway now...

There aren't actually that many lines that make sense.

Basically any of the ferris wheel trainers in BW2 as well...you get fun quotes such as "Eeesh...I'm drenched in sweat...my apron is sticking to me...don't look at me, just keep looking out the window..." or even "I wonder if people think we're a couple?...No, don't look out the window, just keep looking at me..."

Don't know if these are my favorites, but I do like the strange messages on the signs of Southern Island.

"Those whose memories fade seek to carve them in their hearts."

"All dreams are but another reality. Never forget..."

I wonder if these messages mean anything to Latios and Latias. There doesn't seem to be much lore about those two Pokemon in the games other than the Soul Dew. (Not sure if the 5th movie counts.)

In B/W theres a pre-schooler early in the game that says "Take this! Hyper Beam!" before battle.

Is this including Spin-offs? I remember the Go- Rock Squad from Ranger with the disguised ones having lines like:

He's got it wrong, he's supposed to aim for the horn.

Secondly, my problem with Hawes is that
A) He doesn't know that you're a competent 16 year old. He comes in AFTER you've beaten Lenora, so he can't be sure who won. Plus, as a proud 15 year old, I wouldn't want to sent out by some older guy to fight a gang.
B) It's his WIFE he's sending out to take on who knows what. She could be getting killed by Team Plasma and he'd just be standing in that same spot. If I were Lenora, I might just leave him.

1) Fair Enough, though the fact you actualy made it to Lenora hints competency.
2) Didnt think that way, even though Lenora is strong, theres always that risk.
3) Fair Enough again. Guess i didnt think it through before giving my opnion :P

Anyway, theres a swimmer (In Black/White and Emerald, IIRC) that says ''If i am wearing a bikini.....where do i put my pokeballs? Teehee....woman's secret!''
