I think that's the case, if you look at the video, you see the move is one downwards and one upwards slash, much like Aerial Ace(or more specifically, it's Japanese name, Tsubame Gaeshi)

What types do you think legend x and legend y are?
x looks like a cross between a stantler and dialga, so I think it could be Normal/Psychic or perhaps Psychic/Steel but because it's in a forest I might be Psychic/Grass or even Grass/Steel. The color however could also make it Water/Normal or Water/Psychic etc.

now for legend y this first the that came to mind as soon a sI saw it was The legend of the Roc, a mythical GIANT bird in real life. I think it is based off of that and might be Dark/Flying, Rock/Flying, Psychic/Flying, or even Steel/Flying, btu because of it's color it may be Fire/Flying etc.

Is there any doubt regarding this? The double helices in the logo confirm that genetics play a major role. I'm interested in seeing where they take this from a mechanic perspective... Maybe some of the Pokemon we battle with (on Wifi) can be genetically modified and we don't have to mess around with IVs anymore. Wishful thinking, indeed.

I've been thinking about that for a long time. The ability to change IVs ingame, something like a genetic therapy vaccine or something. Make it pathetically expensive like 99BP or 1000000 cash, so that we really need to work for it, but make it possible.

Make us be able to keep the first pokémon that appears in the grass and not ditch it when we want to get competitive! Breeding for moves/base IVs so that breeders have advantages, but let us get good pokémon without having to use RNG (which is kinda a cheat from the developpers perspective isn't it?) or unbelievable loads of luck.

This, changing Pidgeot stats and giving him an ability would be enough.

Never mind RNG, ROM dumping and inspecting isn't all too easy with 3DS games AFAIK. Which means BST determination, movepool lists, etc. may have to be done manually.

It's been said before but the starter will very likely be Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, & Water/Fighting. Level-up movepools are generally pretty specific to the Pokemon's typing or eventual typing scattered with some Normal-type moves or random mid-to-late game flavor coverage if they only have one type. Assuming those were early moves, the typings might be a safe bet.

It would be nice to see your Rival not dick you over on typing due to the secondary-typings countering the first typing.

All this theorizing based on so little. Gotta love the Pokemon community.

Radiant Ruby's alright, but Sapphires should be Shining. Shimmering simply isn't enough!

Alternatively, Game Freak trolls us again and gives us cheap 2D remakes of R/S, titled Pokemon Red Spinel and Pokemon Lapis Lazuli.*

Please let Pokemon Y's legendary be the Wyvern Pokemon in the dex.

It's definitely taking place in, or rather based on France. Below is the Palace of Versailles and a screenshot of a building that looks just like it. Not to mention when Pikachu shoots lightening across the globe he is standing on the Eiffel Tower, which is also pictured in the game.

But in my opinion these games could be lauched for DS , not for 3DS. The graphics remind me Zelda games for DS. I'm al least hopping that the next gen uses some functions of 3DS or something new that might come to be soon releaved, otherwise, this will be only other money rob
