@Aquasition
your opponent had poor late game strategy once you were down to just Arceus Steel. Rather than fishing for the crit with Palkia, he should have sacrificed lugia (simply by switching in, not using recover, and letting burn damage accumulate. If you roar it out to palkia, he switches back to Lugia, if you roar lugia out to skymin, he seed flares) to get skymin a free switch in, then seed flared. That would give him a 68% chance of winning the match (the odds of seed flare both hitting and causing the special defense drop), since Palkia would have broken through by spamming surf. Letting Palkia take the shadow sneak was poor play as well. Last edited by qedragonite; Jan 1st, 2013 at 8:52:20 AM. Reason: greater explanation |

This was a great battle between me and BlueDaffle, there was a few hax here and there but it did not affect the game too much. Even I froze my opponent Kyogre, it defrozed quickly and I was not able to take much advantage out of it. The game victory was decided by a speed tie between two ghost-Arceus, and both sides showed pretty good prediction skills. |

A pretty stallish battle against Skyward. Though I find it pretty ironic that he was criticizing me for running stall while he did the same. Overall he quit the match when the match would've just came down to pp stalling. Great game overall. |

He wasn't running stall, he was running a hax rain team (is that even a thing?) And it's always nice to see stall played well, especially in Ubers, a tier full of giant threats. The most rewarding part is how pissed off and morally superior people act when they can't break it down, which is why I'm growing to enjoy my sandstall team a lot more than any of my other teams.
Well played Haruno. |

absolute worst ubers match I've played. Don't know what was worse. Latias getting freeze hacked to death by kyogre, the constant crits at critical moments or the fucking commentary. |

While in my adventure to discover new potentials in Ubers, I got these really awesome replays. All of good standards although some opponents are just new players, and the logs are fun to watch! It shows I am trying to dig out new sets in Ubers. You can easily tell which teams I am.

I can always tell a player on the ladder is a logical human being when they rage about a low damage roll that only mattered because of a critical, or act like two somewhat important misses justify a freeze.
I especially liked the part where you were all so sure it was low rolls, despite not knowing his spread, and then called him an idiot for pointing that out. Oh yeah and justice? Pretty sure 3 misses aren't worse than 2 crits and a freeze. Edit: Weirdly, i totally saw that coming. Kind of justice for the pointless sacrifices of skarm and tenta, really Double Edit: Nothing stopped you from going to latias from tenta after you saw he was specs, though. And seeing as how you didn't use skarmory's sacrifice to do anything except go to a groudon you then sacrificed too, i mean... why not just cut to the end and sac groudon originally? Even though you forced the meteor, once sun was up you had kingdra pretty well handled with ghostceus+lugia. Might as well save skarmory for... well, what happened at the end there, although if it lacked an attacking move, it wouldn't have changed that much. Ehhh tenta came in expecting the ice beam since most people tend to just predict the latias switch in and ice beam, skarm was useless at that point since kyogre was dead after 2nd layer of spikes came up with sr. It also doesn't wall anything on his team except for kingdra's outrage which ghostceus would've sponged just as nicely. Though I didn't know about /ignore otherwise I would've just blocked callo's coaches at the start. Oh well. Pretty sad how #11 on the ladder relies on coaches + hax to win.

justifying something by saying i 'expected this as it's what most people does' is very poor logic. there was literally no reason for you to waste tentacruel in such a manner, especially as sdef latias still beats specs ogre ice beam with light screen and moreover on the second turn you definitely should have switched to latias. there were multiple poor moves throughout that match and you did not deserve to win at any point lol. pretty sad indeed.
anyway, let's try to get more replays up here.

Rather terrible ubers match against a mono Psychic team filled with has against me, in which I wanted to test Mandibuzz before signing up for research. (I think Mandibuzz could have handled them all if it wasn't more latias having a certain move :I )

Syrim vs LonelyNess
http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ubers7864230 Syrim manages to pull off some lucky end game hax after LN consistently outplays Syrim the entire match and had almost secured the win. |

Pretty good battle with good plays on both sides and some scary moments. And pertaining to research week, an example of Mandibuzz being essentially dead weight from the get go.

I feel like you misplayed with Ghost Arceus. You had kept him in to FBlast Ekiller but then switched him out at the last moment you clearly outsped him (or was lucky with speed ties) and was going to lose him to SR, anyways. Outside of that, the game was very well played making that comeback despite that misplay (which cost you your Ghostceus and Ferro) and the multiple parahax on Specs Ogre.
I'd like to share my own replay that pertains to research week. It was a battle against an Ubers buddy, hackhemust, who knew my team (while I didn't know his) and outplayed me multiple times. Sableye is a clutch, though, and deserves usage. http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ubers8149770 |

Honestly Melee Mewtwo I was really scared of missing Focus Blast haha, but you're definitely right that I should have stayed in anyway and I might not have needed to sacrifice those two.
And its great to see that Sableye was what essentially won you your battle ^_^
