Default Pokemon B2W2 replay issue

Having defeated the champions tournament several times, caught all the legends and having explored every route to death, I decided to replay the story. So I hit new game, and started playing through again. BUT, when I reached pokestar studios, I discovered that trollfreak had plopped a save right near the beginning. These guys are forcing me to make a movie, and won't let me go till I make a movie and save. But save is imposable because of my existing save. What am I to do? Is there any way past this obstacle? I wouldn't mind starting a new game if I could transfer my pokemon... but I can't without spending hours catching patrats with my white and even longer trading pokemon over.

Help?

Either don't replay the game or erase your saved data

Yeah I hate to tell you this, but there's nothing you can do about this. In all Gen IV and V games, you can't save a new game until you've deleted your previous one. This means you cant replay the game for fun (I'm assuming you're just leaving your DS on without saving). Sorry, but its just one of the little things that isn't that obstructing but you must deal with.

To replay the game, you need to delete your current save file first before you start a new game. That feature of not being allowed to save a new game while an old 1 exists has been there since D/P to prevent it happening by accident.

To delete your current game: hold Up+B+Select on the kyurem screen

Otherwise.. There's nothing you can do, you'll be stuck at the studio

IIRC older games had a warning that an old save will be overwritten.

I think, if memory serves, you can walk away once you have the option to start making movies, you just need to watch the sailor guy fail if memory serves (I may be incorrect, but I think that's the case).

If I planned on throwing cottonballs at your face, I wouldn't need to sneak up on you to do it; you'd just take a few cottonballs to the dome and proceed to beat me up. There would be no reason to have your guard up while i'm threatening you with cottonballs. Offensive whimsicott is that cottonball.

You have to make the movie but I dont believe theres anything forcing you to submit it to theaters, in that case you can just leave without saving, could be wrong about this though

I'm fairly certain that there's a reminder the moment you make a new file saying that you won't be able to overwrite the existing file, and that you'll need to delete it beforehand if you want to start over anew.

also, why did you wait so long to save?
