I think he means it doesn't "ground" the flying type user when using roost. However, do you have a log of this?

Playing random battles, and I used HP grass on a Kadabra. It was supereffective. (I'm certain it was HP grass, it was super effective on Frillish the turn before). Here's the replay, it's at turn 24/25. http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/repla...mbattle8214997

Not sure what happened here on turn 2-4. Zapdos clearly used tailwind which should have doubled my speed. Even if archeops is somehow faster when i'm at a +2 with zapdos, latios should outspeed it without a doubt. Latios outsped archeops turn 1 without tailwind only to be outsped turn 4 with tailwind in effect? I don't see defeatist being put on either mon with skill swap. Also turn 7, with defeastist active, excadrill shouldn't be doing 59% to archeops with rock slide since without it, it does ~80%. Lol i think something recently broke with speed modifying mechanics now that i see the following 2 posts. Last edited by Namikaze; Jan 21st, 2013 at 4:48:34 PM. |

This really pissed me off and cost me the match. My opponent was using a tauros that definitely was not scarfed because it switched attacks, and my opponent told me after the match that the tauros was naive natured and maxed speed, and it somehow managed to OUTSPEED and kill my timid choice scarfed celebi. This should not be possible, i don't know if there's a glitch with choice scarf or what but there is definitely something wrong here.

Well, I come to you with another bug. This time regarding Speed.
...
So yeah, that's really pretty irritating. I'm thankful that I was able to win against my opponent, but had I been battling someone more skilled I almost certainly would have lost due to a fault that was not my own. Of course, it may be that I am missing something, but I highly doubt that. If you do figure out what the problem was, please tell me. Even if it's just to tell me that the bug was fixed, because I don't want to ladder until this issue has been resolved. Thank you for your time. I know I came across a little harsh in the log, but I get like that when something unfair happens. I do love the simulator, but this... bugs me. EDIT: Apparently I'm NOT missing something, as the people posting above me have had identical problems. What has happened to Speed?!?! This has to be fixed pronto

The sandstorm rages. voraciouspotatoo: gg KingNeedlesThe1st: lol wtf voraciouspotatoo sent out Skarmory! Pointed stones dug into the foe's Skarmory! ------------------------------------------------------------------- ANyone know what happened? There's no possible way for Nidoking to outspeed Landorus-I in any way, shape or form unless it's paralyzed (which it wasn't.) |

Do you know for a fact that the Nidoking wasn't scarfed? Based on your opponent's dialogue, that seems most likely.

Anyways Nidoking can outspeed if Landorus isn't running speed for w/e reason. ~~~ I heard someone mention this, so I decided to test: Quote:
I thought this was legal in HG/SS, which means it should also be legal in B/W2 Breed Mach Punch onto a Tyrogue -> Evolve into Hitmonlee and let it learn HJK, breed Mach Punch and HJK from Hitmonlee onto another Tyrogue->Tyrogue gets Fake Out as a starting move->Teach Sucker Punch through HG/SS tutor->Trade to B/W2 Maybe I've missed something, but I'm think that's correct. Normally Male-only pokemon can't pass down level up moves, but HJK/Mach Punch are counted as Egg Moves for Tyrogue iirc :x |

Alright, so my gengar had choice specs on him and did like way less damage than it should have. It seemed like it was a gengar holding a choice specs with no 1.5 boost applied to it. I just did calcs on this one particular persons skarmory and it should do around 108.1% - 127.9% with thunderbolt choice specs.
First my choice specs gengar(timid 112SpAtk evs) using thunderbolt to 48Hp/160SpDef impish skarmory did 75% damage which is odd http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou8250806 So I asked the same person again to test it again for me, this time with my gengar holding leftovers and did only 77% to skarmory(Which is quite nearly the same with my first battle holding choice specs). http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou8251458 AND YES Im positive I was holding a choice specs. We even did some tests with mod Hearts(onfire). She even tested it herself and the same exact results. So then she suggested me to report it here so here I am reporting it now Also, it wasnt just to skarmory gengar failed to do significant amount of damage. He failed to KO a 0hp/0spdef slaking with focus blast, standard breloom with shadow ball, 3Koed a garchomp with shadow ball. Please help, my genger was working fine yesterday but the choice specs boost stopped working starting from today. |

Minor Bug:
Nicks beginning with "<" screw with the forfeit message. <*> gets rid of the name and <* gets rid of the message entirely

Hello, first thanks for this simulator, is helping me a lot.
I have notice an issue today when I use Trick Room with a Whimsicott with Prankster, it not always moving first and the opponent is not using a priority move either, here is a video with an example: http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/repla...2013dev8272580 Thanks in advance |

I know, that's why I'm using a pokemon with Prankster to change the priority to +1, sometimes works, sometimes don't. Here's another example:

No, Prankster only raises it to -6. It gives moves an additional priority.

Intimidate isn't working correctly in double battles.
![]() As you can see, Hitmontop was sent out after Landorus, and Intimidate only worked on Kingdra and not Hitmontop, since Hitmontop wasn't on the field yet. [EDIT: I meant that Hitmontop's attack didn't fall despite Landorus-T. Hitmontop's Intimidate worked fine.] Last edited by MeteorMiss; Jan 22nd, 2013 at 6:13:04 PM. Reason: clarification |

When my Porygon tried to use Zap Cannon, it didn't paralyze the opposing Terrakion, even though it has a 100% chance to do so:
The foe's Terrakion used Rock Polish! The foe's Terrakion's Speed sharply rose! Porygon2 used Zap Cannon! The attack of Porygon2 missed! Turn 5 The foe's Terrakion used Rock Polish! The foe's Terrakion's Speed sharply rose! Porygon2 used Zap Cannon! A critical hit! The foe's Terrakion hung on using its Focus Sash! The foe's Terrakion lost 100% of its health! Gravity returned to normal! I don't know whether it was because it was a critical hit or because he had a sash or whatever, but this sort of lost me my game. On turn 11, sturdy doesn't work for Skarmory, even though it should. |

It's possible that the leftovers recovery only put you very near 100%, and your displayed HP percent rounded up. I'm pretty sure I've had that happen, and then get a leftovers recovery message for 0% the next turn.
