In saying all of that, the legendary types simply look breathtaking! But come on, isn't it time to spice things up a bit when it comes to the starter types! Anybody think I'm right, half right or just downright wrong? Hop to it people.

Pokemon is a mix of innovation, and tradition. I kinda like the fact the starters staying the same types, while 2nd types spice it up.

I agree. Knowing what your children are searching for is one thing; watching them search for it is another.

The sad thing is that by not having the default have a porn-filter, google has failed parents. It wouldn't be too hard to have a censored and uncensored version, and trustworthy sites like wikipedia can surely be exempted, as although they may have pages about sex, they don't have sex pages.

But seriously, why can't kids type in both X and Y after "Pokemon"? Stupid kids being all exclusive with their searches.

New thought. In this generation, there will be a calf Pokemon that can evolve into Miltank, Tauros or Bouffalant!

If so then you are lucky af, because my parents used to check my history ALL THE TIME. I have to hide my browser in a folder, and set internet explorer as my default just to get them to stop searching my history. They don't care anymore now that I am 16, but it was really annoying. The point is your parents have complete control over all your rights, and are able to take them away in a pinch, so be careful!!

By supervising, I didn't mean literally standing there watching them type. I meant checking history often to know what their kids are going on.

Less porn. More Pokemon.

I'm wondering how long it will take the community to switch from Gen 5 competitive battling to Gen 6. Obviously, simulators just need to have new moves, Pokemon, and abilities programmed in, but Gen 6 competitive can't really take off until the community cracks the RNG. Hopefully, it will be the same or at least similar to the BW RNG.

I, too, hope it's BW-style breeding. But, really, I'm going to start G6 competitive online battling as soon as possible, even if I just used pokeshifted pokemon (which better be possible, otherwise I think I'd just quit pokemon rather than try and start over...).

Sure, I'm going to want to test out the new guys, but I'll have plenty of fun testing out new movesets.

I don't imagine it'll take too terribly long. It's been done before. Worst case scenario is that we use the old formulae with the new moves until the new formulae are discovered.

Shouldn't be too difficult. The sprite designers over at CAP do a pretty good job.

To say they've only been announced a little over 2 weeks ago, I think they're pretty good. Not GameFreak standard or anything, but it's kinda hard to make animated sprites.

Seems entirely possible, but a rumor is a rumor.

I really don't like the idea of Chespin being double weak to Fennekin.

Normal and Water type exists. Bibarel is Normal/Water. Beside that, Surskit not being around much is not an excuse to put Bug/Water on the list.

That's probably it, I think there's only been 1 Fire type elite four. But I think that other than an E4 room, it could be some ruins, or something belonging to the story. This is a shot in the dark, but maybe it involves some legendary.

With Pokéfans getting older (and smarter) by the generation, with knowledge of past rumours, and GameFreak beginning to establish patterns in the franchise, it's becoming harder to tell whether a rumour is legit or not. Every rumour should be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism, though. So far, we've had several "leaks" from "trusted sources", and so far nothing of it has proven true. Yet.

Even crueler if it also learned Self-destruct.

Ice/Steel is a rather weird typing, but who knows. Game Freak doesn't always go with what makes most sense to fans or other people in general. Im doubting it compeltely, since he doesnt look Ice, but its certainly a possibility.

I want the Water/Electric Viking Frog starter thing to be real though. That sounds absolutely boss. Hoping for an electric priority physical move so he can have 2 stab priority moves. All he would need is Technician.

I think my biggest issue with the whole porn thing is the blame game.
Can you really shift responsibility to the parents? No amount of preventative effort or info can possibly reach all parents, especially if they don't know it's an issue already; meanwhile, there is very little way to have such complete control over what your kid does. You can't watch over them in every scenario just to make sure they aren't miss-googling a pokemon game, and if you do, it's not like the computer knows you're watching, any mistake can yield pornographic results and BAM, it's too late - which is a big part of the issue. It's too late. The damage is done before you have the chance to prevent it, and I don't think that much fault can be placed on the consumers or parents for not "knowing better ahead of time", regardless of what information is attempted to be presented to them.
I personally thing the names of the games are meh at best anyway, I prefer the older games named after colors/materials, but that asside I'd still think they would at least do enough homework on their own product before naming it something that might result in the exposure of it's target demographic to materials they legally should not be veiwing. Note, by the way, this is totally in reference to those who are unaware, innocent, and accidental. If you are a minor and looking up pokemon porn or porn of any other nature, that is your own issue, not the one at hand, nor is the accessablility of porn on google (although those ARE semi-related issues that also warrent discussion in other circles).

It just seems like kinda an easily avoidible debacle. Literally, ANY OTHER NAME would have avoided this issue, maybe not 100%, but largely.
