Have you tried other browsers? If so, which one, and does this problem happen on them as well?- I don't have any.
When did this problem start? About an hour ago.

And of, course, your problem (include any error messages verbatim. give frequency, etc.).- I was creating a team and when I finished and saved it the screen froze. I closed Safari and restarted my laptop and now it just loads everything and then stops at Joining Showdown Server.

This is only when I attempt to log into the main server and Smogon's server. All other servers (NuggetBridge, etc) work perfectly fine.

Problem: I'm able to get on just fine, but when I use Chrome PS crashes after about an hour - particularly annoying to me because it loses all the chat logs stored before the crash. Firefox usually works longer without crashing now, but even when I do stay on, after some time the earlier logs start getting removed, even though I haven't refreshed the page (I've been able to keep all the logs before). Opera never crashes, but can only store about 40 minutes of logs at a time. Is there any way I can prevent Chrome from crashing and/or making my browsers store more of the chat at a time?

I believe this is a Chrome bug.

Best way to fix it is to use it in an active Chrome window instead of a passive tab.

Although you'll have to mod the client to make it actually preserve that much chat.

Both of the browsers load the game. like i can talk to people pm them and such. but when i try to join a battle or watch one i get a room called like random battle 89 (empty) and if i click on it i get disconnected. then rebooted into the screen with it saying join game. but it wont let me join the game and it says the game is unavailable. it does it on both firefox and chrome

6. Whenever I open the application, I get the same "bad_httpd_conf" error screen as Adam Lambert (Post 173). I have tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times. While it works just fine on Safari, I have many teams on the Showdown app that I no longer have access to.

Guys showdown is saying "website is offline"...2 days ago I got on it, but now its saying that again, please fix this O.o I cant even get to the site and controlf5 doesnt work, shiftf5 doesnt work, retry for a live version doesnt work either-.- clearing cache and cookies also does not work, im using chrome, its a website problem because thats the only website thats not working, please fix O_O

Hey, since yesterday afternoon I haven't been able to access Pokemon Showdown. It gets stuck at the "Attempting to Join Server" part.

I'm using a Mac OSX V 10.8.2 with the newest operating system.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I've always been able to connect at other locations but at my house in particular, since a few weeks ago I always am unable to connect. It says "You have been disconnected - possibly because the server was restarted". The problem only comes up when I am at my own house, but any other wireless connection allows me to connect perfectly fine.

1) HP Laptop thingy ma jig
2) Chrome
3) Firefox and Opera
4) This morning
5) Melee Mewtwo (and some alts of course)
6) I can't connect to any server, standard, joim nor any other. It's not the login server, it stops when it tries to connect to the showdown server. I've tried deleting my cache and what not but it still doesn't go through. I tried logging in on another computer (or well my Wii U) but I get the same issue. I've also tried restarting my livebox to no avail. This is getting really annoying for me, lol.

Edit: Okay, it has been a day now and nothing has changed. :(

Edit2: I looked around in other places of the forum and found out that you are already aware of this problem (which only some have had to put up with) so I guess I'll just have to wait a bit. (I'm glad to know I'm not the only one so I have no problem waiting)

EDIT: I installed Firefox and tested PS on it. It gives me the same problem as Chrome. I'd really like some help on this, I don't think I'll enjoy having to use a separate dedicated browser just for PS.

Try updating your Flash plugin for your browser; it is needed for the sound. (although i never really liked the battle music but everyone has their own tastes haha)

EDIT: I installed Firefox and tested PS on it. It gives me the same problem as Chrome. I'd really like some help on this, I don't think I'll enjoy having to use a separate dedicated browser just for PS.

I am having this exact same issue, also with both Chrome and FireFox. All I've needed to do is refresh the page and it works fine after that, but the fact that it is happening at all is still an issue. Hence why I'm here and seconding this.

Both of the browsers load the game. like i can talk to people pm them and such. but when i try to join a battle or watch one i get a room called like random battle 89 (empty) and if i click on it i get disconnected. then rebooted into the screen with it saying join game. but it wont let me join the game and it says the game is unavailable. it does it on both firefox and chrome

Firefox usually works longer without crashing now, but even when I do stay on, after some time the earlier logs start getting removed, even though I haven't refreshed the page (I've been able to keep all the logs before). Opera never crashes, but can only store about 40 minutes of logs at a time. Is there any way I can prevent Chrome from crashing and/or making my browsers store more of the chat at a time?
