UU was seriously lacking a good Speed Tier list, so I decided to take a look at it and I realized there were some flaws and things that needed update. As a result, I was put in charge of this thread and decided to give it a full look-up and update it. As it stands, I gave mentions to every Pokemon listed here. There might be some spreads taken from the RU new analysis, but changes will be implemented once people take over their respective analysis concerning the UU tier.
The format is the following: Speed / Pokemon / Base Speed / Nature (+Spe, -Spe, or Neutral) / EVs / Boost
Tier 0 (Boost Required)
Tier 1 (> Max Base 130 Speed to Choice Scarf Max Neutral Base 115 Speed)
Tier 2 (> Max Neutral Base 105 Speed to Max Base 130 Speed)
Tier 3 (> Max Neutral Base 80 Speed to Max Neutral Base 105)
Tier 4 (> Min Base 75 Speed to Max Neutral Base 80)
Tier 5 (< Min Base 75 Speed)

Gligar / 85 / +Spe / 252 / 0
Nobody uses max speed gligar... Also mention max speed neutral 85's (Modest Nidoking, Adamant Heracross) 388 / Chandelure, Gallade / 80 / Neutral / 252 / 0 --> Forgot adding the +1 Add 0 speed Scrafty (bulk up) I would not put ''4 Speed EVs'' pokemon here since that's more speed creeping that anything imo

Most notably in Tier 0, a few changes need to be made. Because Scarf Mienshao is the new benchmark for setup sweepers, Pokemon such as Kingdra and Porygon-Z now run different EV spreads (check my analyses for the exacts, I think they just run full speed with a neutral nature). This allows them to reach above 508 speed at +2, giving them the jump on Scarf Mienshao.
Just figured this needed mentioning.

I know this hasn't been modified in a while, but I realized in Tier 0, you have Slowking alongside other base 30s. Its only sets for UU actually run Relaxed/Sassy so it can break 0/0 Kingdra's Subs with Dragon Tail, so it might be worth placing it in a different Speed number (-Spe with 31 Speed IVs is 86)

The update is almost complete.
Sigilyph is the only Pokemon remaining Another thing: Accelgor gets Unburden as its ability and it is the fastest Pokemon in the tier without set up. For this reason, I rose some Speed boost stages as long as they don't overcome Accelgor. Last edited by Santuga; Apr 23rd, 2013 at 7:59:00 PM. |

I was wondering, is it worth mentioning CM Hail Raikou? I haven't faced it much, but it could be noteworthy since it's forced to be slower than base 105s in order to use Weather Ball and Aura Sphere. It's also a pretty cool set overall, being able to deal decent damage to its common checks, so it's weird it hasn't received an analysis yet...

I am only posting the EV spreads that are on-site or listed in the revamp index. You could make a suggestion there to see if that Raikou set gets anywhere :]

i want to get this on-site as soon as possible so if everyone could read through them and pitch in / find any mistakes, you're more than welcome to.

I don't think 84 Spe EV's Golurk deserves to be mentioned. The only on-site Golurk spread has no speed investments, so most Golurk will be running 0 Spe EV's.
Also Honchkrow has Base 71 Spe, not 91 I'm not sure if Ninjask deserves to be on the list, but eh. You may also want to include -Spe Blastoise since Relaxed Nature Blastoise is used sometimes whenever it runs D-Tail>Roar.
